Place of Birth: Nashua, New Hampshire
Hometown/Last Residence: She spent the first five years of her life living in Nashua, but when her dad was offered a job at a university you may have heard of, Princeton, they moved down to New Jersey.
Race/ethnicity: She's North Indian, specifically from Bihar. She is buddhist.
Accent: She has a slight Indian accent, though it's mainly been covered now. It’s also a bit mixed with a Boston area accent, from spending her youngest years in the area.
Skin Tone: A light brown, lighter than your stereotypical Indian, but certainly not white.
Eye Color: Her eyes are a light brown, like caramel just before you burn it onto your pan.
Hair Color: Her hair is a few shades darker than her eyes, what people like to call "chocolate brown", but it's more of a mud brown in reality. People just really like to make food comparisons.
Hair Length: Her hair reached down to the bottom of her rib cage, although she cut it just after getting to camp to make training easier.
Height: She's on the shorter side of average, roughly 5'4" the last time she checked, though that was over a year ago.
Weight: Around 130 lbs.
Body Type: She's square-ish, short and kind of round, though since she got to Camp she's been working it off in training.
Appearance: She tries to keep up a certain "Don't mess with me" vibe, filled with intense looks, though she is certainly not on the wrong side of society's expectations. She is traditionally pretty, and is often told so, as much as she hates it. She wears jeans pretty much all the time, even in summer. Occasionally when it gets really hot she'll wear shorts, but that doesn't happen much. She tends to look perpetually angry, having a rather severe case of resting bitchface. She has a rather excessive collection of nerdy t-shirts, to go with her nerdy glasses she wears outside of training.
Weapon: She won a pair of medieval warhammers in a contest, managing to trick the owner into betting them in one of her favourite card games, which she promptly won. They have CB spikes on the end, making them deadly to monsters. She mainly trains with those, though she also has a standard camp sword for when she needs it, and uses that occasionally.
Armor: She has a set of armor she made one day in the forge when she was bored, with the help of a Hephaestus camper, that looks suspiciously like that of the elves from Lord of the Rings.
Pet(s): She had three mice back home, but she decided against bringing them to Camp, so they live with her dad back at Princeton.
Skills/Talents: She's scarily good at math, easily doing physics calculations in her head. She used to get into her father's lesson plans and read them when she was little, so she knows pretty much the same physics as a Princeton Sophomore, though her basics are a bit lacking. She was also pretty good at dance, but not modern dance or ballet or any of those.
Flaws: She gets attached to people very easily, but she has a hard time putting her thoughts into words, so she often stands there repeating something over and over again and gesturing oddly. She has a perpetually bad left knee, probably from too much running. She's asthmatic, and has a large scar on her left arm from the first major fight she got into at Camp. The other guy was in the infirmary for a few days, so she technically got off better.
Strengths: She's a strong fighter, spending much of her time training or working out. She's a fast runner, despite her asthma. She's incredibly deductive and strategic, anticipating moves before they come, on and off the battlefield.
Weaknesses: She's hopeless at archery, and downright clumsy out of battle. She's asthmatic, which sometimes messes up her training, though it's mostly mild and controlled.
Likes: She enjoys traditionally nerdy things - physics, math, chemistry, etc. - but also appreciates sports and the wonders makeup can do for a person. She's a fan of card games, and other tabletop games.
Dislikes: She doesn't like history at all, she finds dead people to be exceedingly dull. Why learn about dead people when there's wormholes to think about? She's not a big fan of cheese either, and she's vegetarian so meat is automatically out.
Fears: She fears little things, like forgetting things, running out of books to read, or spilling her tea, but also bigger things like flying, drowning, and heights in general.
Personality: She's a real sweetheart once you get past her shell. She considers her decisions and choices thoroughly before taking any actions towards them. She’s fairly introverted, never going out of her way to make friends, as she’d much rather be at home reading or studying her physics work. She uses reason more than her emotions when making decisions, and will rarely show any emotions. She can get angry however, and she starts to be very passive-aggressive with people when she does.
Powers: She can exert about 40N of force on someone, about the equivalence of having a toddler or small child sitting on their shoulders. She can do this twice a day (with a good three hours between), though she rarely does because she will have to take a nap after. This lasts typically for the duration of the fight, though at most 10 minutes. She typically has to be within arm's length of the target, but from up to five feet away is possible, but takes extra effort. The force can come at the person from any angle, but is most effective coming straight down as the force of a small child running into someone really doesn't hinder them all that much.
Social Status: She’s a bit of an outsider, but she has her friends and she’ll be loyal to them to the end of her life.
Summer or Year Rounder: She’s mostly a weekday camper, usually going home to her dad on weekends and at holidays. She does spend the entire summer at Camp though.
Years at Camp: She’s been coming to Camp in the summer since she was 12, but only started attending the rest of the time this year.
Life Before Camp: Bobby was born up in New Hampshire in the late spring of 1999, to a father who had too many books and not enough time. He was always studying his books or coming up with some new theory about wormholes, when he wasn’t teaching at BU. He’d often bring his daughter to work with him, having her nap in his office when she was little, and when she was a bit older she’d sit in the back of his classes and listen in. When Bobby was five, her father was offered a job at Princeton, so they packed up all his books and took themselves down to New Jersey. They lived in a small house just off campus, and Bobby would still attend class with her father. She quite enjoyed it, though she didn’t always understand everything. She was technically homeschooled growing up, but it was more she was given books to read and online classes occasionally. After a few years of this “homeschooling”, her dad sent her to the elementary school in the town. She was often bored, building towers with her supplies and daydreaming in the middle of class. They tested her forward a few years, and eventually gave up and sent her back to homeschooling. When she was 11 she first began exhibiting strange powers, like when her dad was apparently weighed down by nothing. The next year a satyr found her, and she was sent to Camp for the summers, still coming home during the year to sit in on her dad’s classes. This year he decided she was old enough to go year round, but she still comes home most weekends to see her dad.
Roleplaying Example: Today had not been a good day for Bobby Archer. It had started with a call from her dad saying that he couldn't pick her up at the train station, so she'd have to stay at Camp for the weekend. That wasn't too bad, except she needed another book and she had left her favourite hoodie at home last weekend. Then someone tells her she's got dish duty for something she didn't even do.
She was taking all this anger and frustration out on a dummy in the training arena, clobbering it on the head with her hammers repeatedly until it didn't have a head, exactly, anymore. It was more a misshapen lump of straw with a hat. There was an ever-growing pile of dummies like this on the floor behind her, but still she kept attacking them, pushing her hair out of her eyes every now and then and only stopping her merciless attacks to flip her hammers and toss the destroyed dummy behind her.
