Name: Daniel Alexander
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Eyes: Brown
Hair: Black
Height: 5'10
Body Type: Lean, muscular
Skin Color: Tan
God Parent: Dionysus
Mortal Parent: Marie Alexander
Country of Origin: America
Pets: A black cat with green eyes named "Bucky"
Talents: Musical Theatre (Acting, Singing, Choreography, Directing)
Weapon: Celestial Bronze Tomahawk
Personality: Daniel is a jokester, constantly cracking jokes to lighten up the mood… Even if the joke isn't funny. He is free spirited, and it's been his dream to travel the world and enjoy the sights, without monsters chasing him everywhere he goes. He's also quite relaxed, nothing really irritates him too much.
Flaws: He can be vain at times, he can be inappropriate with his jokes sometimes, and he tends to zone out, getting lost in his daydreams.
Abilities: Alcohol Tolerance (Can't become drunk)
Powers: Can make a person start hallucinating for, at the most, five minutes with illusion magic. He can make them see hallucinations such as swarms of bees, venomous snakes, or even grapevines sprouting from their skin.
Limitations-
> The victim must be within twenty feet of him, and he must have full concentration on the victim for ten seconds.
> He has to focus on the victim completely, without breaking concentration, otherwise the "insanity curse" won't be affective at all.
> The victim could resist if they were aware of what he was doing, if their ability to use the mist (or another form of illusion magic) is stronger than his, or if the victim's willpower is strong enough, they can concentrate past the hallucinations.
> He can do it only five times a day, and he gets a headache after he does it, and has to wait at least 20 minutes before using his power again. When the headache has receded, he is able to use his power again.
> It can only be a mortal or a monster (Titans, Giants, The Fates, The Gods, Chiron, and more powerful monsters such as Hellhounds and Drakons are all excused.)
Life Before Camp:
Danny was raised in a very religious hispanic Catholic family, who thought he was evil, because of his demigod blood. The nuns in his private school would call him "Demon-child" because of his powers, and the children would shun him because of the nuns. His mother, Marie, converted to Catholicism after Danny was born, never told his family who his father was, but disowned him. He ran away the summer when he was twelve years old. He grew tired of his family's ridicule and hatred, and the constant teasing of the other children. While he was on the run, he found another demigod the same age as him named Kenneth Hunter (another character that I'm working on) who was in a similar situation. After three months of dodging monsters, they found a satyr who was escorting a girl to camp. Her name was Rachel Quinn, (another character that I'm working on.) With that satyr's help, the three of them arrived to camp at twelve, and have been year-rounders ever since.
RP Example:
I don't know what happened. It seemed that the flag was right there, right in my reach, and then I lost it. If only I hadn't been blindsided by that one kid from the Ares cabin, then we would've won. I mean, I know that they're the children of war himself, but that's no reason to break some twelve-year-old's arm. If only I could, I'd drive him insane.
Notes: He makes a mean grape cider.
