Personality: Vern is a fun loving, don't cross me kind of person. He's the kind of person who is nice and funny to friends and deadly towards enemies. sometimes he can be very annoying with the timing of his jokes or by how many he tells. He's very loyal, friendly, and likes to learn
Flaws: He thinks everything is a joke. He sometimes in the middle of a fight start thinking he is invincible witch inevitably leads to him getting hurt. He has a phobia of heights, spiders, and snakes

Life Before Camp*: Before camp, Vern lived with his mother in New York state. On his way to Francis Lewis high school (age 15), he was attacked by what he now knows as a hellhound. A man bounded from across the street and slashed at the hound with vicious knives until the hound was killed.He led me to his car and told me that he was a satyr, that was a hellhound, and that the only safe place for me is camp half blood were he led me after the attack. once he got there an odd greek symbol glowed over his head for about 5 minutes. Chiron (a centaur apparently) said it was the symbol of kratos the god of might and that it meant that he claimed me as his son.
RP Example*:Vern was running down the street from a pack of hell hounds. They were gaining so Vern decided to try something, he lept onto a dumpster, turned, and slashed his swords at the first two that lunged at him. he dodged the third and threw his knife at the fourth. "one more" he mumbled to himself as he stabbed a hound. he jumped of of the dumpster and cut the head off the last monster
