Money money money (BoO Spoilers)

Lizzie ate another chip as she stalled for time. Well it would depend on her schedule for one, what she needed to do and where she needed to be in order to do it. "Erm..." She began before pursing her lips together in thought. "We... Erm... We.." Lizzie looked away as she tried to think of what she wanted to say and how to say it without her vocal cords rebelling. "We... Er could go fo... For a walk?" She finally managed to suggest.

"A walk? Alright, then let's go for a walk tomorrow." Greg smiled at her, and then said, "I suppose with the fact that I;m rich, you should know my full name is Greg Darius Johnson the Third."

She nodded offering him a nervous, some what small smile. Lizzie did not directly meet his gaze, she struggled to talk to him if she was looking into those eyes of his. Her heart beat fast in her chest when she looked at him. Lizzie didn't understand why she felt this way about a boy she just met.
This might as well be the tale from a teen novel, those ones where the guy and girl both fall for each other but the other doesn't know for certain how they feel. Those stories never felt real, till now. But they happened to be that, just a story. Their problem was just that, they were only stories, they might not necessarily be true.

"Uh, so, what cohort are you in?" he brought up the question from earlier, because he wasn't sure what else to say. Greg got up, ready to leave the restaraunt. He checked the time, it was after one already. It's funny that he knew her for just over an hour, but he felt attracted to her. Back in England and Canada, he would like girls, but he was too young to date then. But this was a different like. It was just weird, and he didn't like thinking about it. Besides, according to his dad, he was a kid until he was like 25.

Lizzie tried to answer but fumbled with her words so just sighed heavily and held up three fingers, smiling slightly. She was quite pleased to be a member of the third cohort. It didn't help her that she felt drawn towards him, this attraction surprised her greatly, considering how Lizzie always thought that she would get to know someone before she felt this strong of an attraction.
Perhaps it was fate or destiny, or something was deliberately drawing them together. She always thought however that the guy she would fall for might be Roman.

"Third, nice. Well, how about we just go for that walk now?" he motioned toward the exit, making sure the money was there to pay for their food. "Unless you want dessert, I can buy us some dessert?" he asked.

"Er..." She decided to finish her drink quickly before standing up. "I g... Guess we could go." Lizze shook her head at him when he suggested buying her desert. She would not have minded an ice cream, but Lizzie was not hungry for ice cream. It simply would have been a nice treat to keep her cool.

Greg nodded, starting the walk. "So, Lizzie, how long did you live in Scotland for?" he asked, curious.

"Most of my life... It is still weird being at this camp." Lizzie answered quietly walking along with him.

OOC: It is okay.

"Have you not been here for very long, then?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

She shook her head, a clear signal for no. "Just over a year." Give or take a few months.

"Ah, so you've been here a decent amount of time. So, what do you like to do? Like, activities and sports wise?" he asked. Greg studied her features more closely, but didn't really mean to. He just really liked her, but he barely knew her. He didn't even know her last name yet.

She nodded the once in agreement with what he said. "Football... Though to most... I... Its soccer." So Lizzie played football, nothing wrong with that, she was actually pretty great at it. Though Lizzie would never boast about it, she would reluctantly accepted compliments on her sporting ability from her friends but that was about it for the daughter of Stimula.

"No way, I like football- soccer, whatever, too! American football is stupid, though. Football everywhere else, though, it's one of the best sports out there, if not the best. You wanna play sometime?" he asked, really happy that she liked football-soccer too.

She smiled at him nervously. "American football is cool too." Lizzie mumbled quietly under her breath looking away from him. When he suggested that they play together sometime, it seemed like a good idea. "Y... Y.. Yes sure that... Would be fun." She stammered looking back at him. Maybe he was good at football.

Greg just shrugged when she said American football was cool. He didn't agree, but he didn't mind that she liked it. "Maybe that could be our tomorrow date, go play some football-soccer?" he asked, looking at her. "I had a lot of fun tonight." He attempted to hold her hand.

She smirked. "Football soccer." A faint teasing glimmer appeared in her eyes. "Y... You goin... Going to dress up in... Armour whilst I... I... Kick the football?" Lizzie looked back at him, or rather up at him. She let him hold her hand, a nervous tremor passing through her entire body, her heart beating in her chest like a machine-gun on full auto.
They had only just met, things were going really quickly. If anyone from her cohort saw them they might think something was happening between the pair of them.
Was there? Lizzie didn't know, not for certain anyway.

"The question is, are you going to be wearing armor the entire time...that was a really crappy comeback." He chuckled. "Alright, well, I guess I'll see you then? We'll meet at the Pomerian Line?"

"Yeah..." It kind of was an awful comeback but she thought he happened to be quite funny. "Sure." Lizzie said squeezing his hand before letting go. She wiped it on her shirt, her hand feeling a bit sweaty. Oh Gods! She panicked, wondering if they had been sweating before they held hands.

Greg smiled, and went to leave, but quickly, "oh, one more thing." He leaned in to kiss her cheek.

Lizzie almost moved away but she went rigid both from shock and a little bit of nervous fright. Apart from her mother (who rarely kissed her on the cheek) no one had ever kissed her before. Okay, so it wasn't a proper kiss but it was still a kiss. She felt her insides go warm from it. Lizzie couldn't help but smile, yet she didn't say anything her tongue was tied.

"See you, then." Greg left the area.

She watched him go and waved slightly with her hand.
