Jena walked through Caldecott tunnel, feeling utterly exhausted. She had spent the past week in Seattle with her dad. She had a lot of fun, but she was returning to camp later than she had originally planned, which stressed her out. Her floral backpack was slung over her shoulder, and she wore a white t shirt and dark jeans.

Re: welcome home, sis
Kiera had guard duty and I know what you're thinking - who on earth decided that Kiera was good at guard duty? She'll have you know that she knew how to use a bow and an arrow very well, thank you very much. She was busy staring at the ground, reciting some of the medicines and stuff that she had to remember if she wanted to seriously work in the infirmary. However she glanced up and cocked an arrow when she heard footsteps approaching...then all at once completely dropped her weapons and ran to bearhug her sister. "Jena, you're home!" Kiera laughed happily. She pulled away to examine her face to make sure she didn't need any bandaids. "What took you so long?! Kit and Jaci are probably worried sick! And not even an IM? What the hell?! Oh, never mind, I'm just so happy your back!"

Jena's face lit up when she saw her half-sister running towards her, "Kiera!" She held open her arms so Kiera could hug her, trying not to fall backwards or drop her backpack. "I'm sorry! My flight was canceled for some reason, I had to wait a couple days before I could catch the next one. Never fly American Airlines, especially out of Seatac, its the worst."

"Oh, you poor thing! We have to catch up after my shift is over. Maybe we can get some cocoa or something." Kiera shrugged. It was getting very cold in Camp Jupiter as winter neared, which was why she had on a thick fleece and several layers of clothing beneath her armor. Some hot chocolate with her sister would be just what the doctor ordered. Kiera was technically a nurse...but still. "But for now, how's everything back home?"

Re: welcome home, sis
"Yes, cocoa sounds great! I think- oh one second." The phone in her pocket chirped loudly, no really, her ringtone was a chirping noise. Kit had done it and she never bothered to change it back. She read over the text message before saying "it's my dad. He wanted to know if I had gotten back safely. He's such a worrier." She laughed a little, it was funny how alike she and her dad were. Both of them had the tendency to be worriers. She quickly responded to the text, and looked back up at her half sister.
"Home is great, my dad is keeping busy. It was nice to be in an actual city again, with real normal people."

Re: welcome home, sis
Kiera laughed and gave her one more hug. "Sweet! So cocoa it i - Oh, okay." She let her go so that she could check her phone; she knew how parents could be. When she first made it to camp, her father and brother had dedicated their time to calling her in every way possible. The only time they stopped calling so often was when they decided to pack up from Virginia and move to New Rome to stalk her more closely. Nonetheless, Kiera loved Elijah and her father. When Jena explained who it was, Kiera nodded in understanding. "Ugh, so is my dad. I know how you feel with that one."
"I wish. I miss the city," The freckled girl sighed wistfully as she thought about the city she had abandoned. She shouldered her bow onto her back since she didn't need it now. "Oh well. I'm glad everyone's doing okay!"
