    Name: Regina Marie Townshend
    Gender: Female
Mortal Parent: Lindsey Townshend, a rigid yet warm police officer in Washington, D.C. At the time of Regina’s birth, she was a beat cop who was quite well known in the DC area, if not always popular; now she is a member of the Secret Service. She is a natural born leader, and often is the one to take charge in any situation.
God Parent: Cratos, God of Strength and Power; Personification of authority in all its forms.
Date of Birth: July 2nd, 2001 (15 years old)
Place of Birth: Washington, D.C., United States of America
Hometown/Last Residence: Washington, D.C., United States of America
Race: Caucasian; European descent (mostly English)
    Ethnicity: American
Accent: Of the DC region; mostly northern, as one might here in Maryland, but slightly southern, often pronouncing “er”s as “ur”s (ie: very/vury)
Skin Tone: Tanned, leaning on the pale side
Eye Color: Very dark brown eyes. Not quite black, but getting there
Hair Color: Naturally a sandy brown colour, but Regina dyes it a much darker shade of brown to match her eyes almost perfectly. She believes that if she lets herself be too blonde, she won’t get the respect she deserves.
Hair Length: Shoulder length, but often worn in a high pony or a tight bun
    Height: 5’11”
    Weight: Roughly 150 lbs
Body Type: Regina is built quite solidly. Her torso is very square with broad shoulders. She is slightly muscular, mostly in the legs from daily jogs around the suburbs.
Appearance: Regina has a long, circular face with a high forehead. Her dark eyes are narrow, placed just beneath pointed eyebrows and hidden behind thick rimmed glasses. The bridge of her nose is wide, and the tip of her nose is ever so slightly upturned. Her cheekbones are very prominent, yet rather low. Her cheeks themselves are slightly gaunt. Her lips are thick and almost in an ever present pursed position.
She is on the tall side, and a bit muscular. She has broad shoulders and a square torso. Her stomach is mostly flat. Regina has perfect posture that makes her seem taller than she is. She has built arms from her years of softball, and muscular legs from her runs. Her feet are a bit large for her age, but hardly noticeable.
Regina’s attire is mostly shades of black and grey, although a bit of brown slips in here and there. Her style is more professional, preferring high collars and business blazers to T-shirts. Aside from battle or athletic activities, Regina generally dresses like a shrewd businesswoman or a cunning lawyer. She seldom wears any jewelry, but is almost always with a watch on her left wrist (said watch is also her weapon).
Weapon: A Celestial Bronze kopis named Exousia, or Authority. Exousia can shrink down into a wristwatch.
Armor: Regina prefers lighter armour that gives her better mobility to strike her enemies with
Pet(s): A large German Shepherd named Henry that she’s had since she was eight. He is roughly 9 years old.
Skills/Talents: Regina is a natural born leader; she often is able to get people to follow and agree with her. She’s also quite adept at most forms of armed combat, but has a knack for disarming her foes. She’s also quite good at distance running, aerial acrobats (years of cheerleading), and is a half decent pitcher.
Flaws: Regina has a need to be in control, and for people to listen to her. When she doesn’t get her way, she can have a fiery temper. She is also fiercely loyal to those she likes, so much that she might neglect her own well-being for someone elses. She has a one track mind, and can often get consumed by her goals. She is also self-conscious of her eyes, which is one of the reasons why she wears such thick rimmed glasses.
Strengths: Regina – as mentioned before – is a natural leader, who can often convince others to follow her. She is an excellent debater, and has often found herself on the winning side of most arguments. She is physically fit, able to run great distances before beginning to even tire. She is strong as well, and able to lift her body weight with relative ease.
Weaknesses: Regina is absolutely hopeless with any sword of ranged weapon, be it javelins or arrows (softballs, however, do not apply). She can be a bit overbearing, which makes her seem unapproachable. Regina cannot quite understand any type of science – botany, physics, medicine, etc. She is also a bit careless in her placing of items; more than once she’s misplaced her glasses.
Likes: Regina has a deep fascinations with laws and rules, and with it, a love of the legal system as a whole. She enjoys argument, though prefers a friendly debate than a malicious verbal assault. She loves to run, and most type of sport; her favourites are cheerleading and softball. She is a huge fan of sparring as well, almost as much as any Ares child.
Dislikes: Regina dislikes most sciences, as she doesn’t see the point in most of them. She doesn’t like when she has to go to archery lessons either, as she is rubbish at it. She dislikes losing in any capacity, no matter how small the loss is. Most of all, she hates not being listened to.
Fears: Regina has a massive fear of failing, as she is quite literally the daughter of power; it would feel like an embarrassment otherwise.
Personality: Regina, much like her name suggests, believes that she ought to be a queen. Luckily for her, she also realizes that she isn’t one in real life, and more or less content with her life. She is a rather nice person once you get to know her – and extremely loyal – but she gives off an aura of dismissal and detachment. In all actuality, it’s far more likely she’s engrossed in her own thoughts and doesn’t realize anyone is there).
Regina prefers solo activities to group ones. Yes, people are all fine and dandy most of the time, as well as good company, but they can be terribly invasive and districting just as well. Despite her standoffishness and introverted personality, Regina can also be a bright and charismatic leader, often able to sway people to her side with logic, reason, and a touch of willpower.
Perhaps above all, however, Regina adheres to laws and rules… when she’s not attempting to reshape them in her image. She doesn’t tolerate any type of delinquent behavior, and can be rather uptight about it.
Abilities: Regina has no special abilities
Powers: Once per thread, Regina can summon extra strength -- essentially restoring her to full strength -- for up to three posts. Once her extra strength runs out, her own strength diminishes to almost nothing.
Regina can also trick others into believing she is of a higher authority than her target by making eye contact with them. This only lasts for two posts, with a cooldown of five posts, and can only be used on a specific person once per thread (in other words, she may have multiple targets throughout a thread, but can only target a person once). Only mortals, legacies, and the children of non-Olympians are targetable.
Social Status: Queen Bee without an entourage
Summer or Year Rounder: Year Rounder
Years at Camp: Two years (arrived at 13)
Life Before Camp: Regina Marie Townshend was born on July 2nd, 2001 in Washington, D.C. Her mother was Officer Lindsey Townshend, a recent transplant from southern Virginia. According to her mother, her father was a fellow officer who left suddenly without warning.
From birth, Regina grew up learning that rules were to be followed and that her mother’s word was law. Regina was content with those principles, and always made sure to follow instruction. She felt no rhyme or reason not to, which ultimately turned her into a respectable, proper, yet cautious young woman.
As a child, Regina was never sure if she had many friends. At school, she was known for her smarts, and could easily convince others to do whatever needed to get done. And for a while, that was all that was needed to make and keep friends. But as she got older, the other kids began to be a bit more rebellious, and with Regina’s strict belief in rules, it put a damper on her friendships.
To cope with this, Regina turned to two things. The first, she grew closer to her mother, who shared the same respect for rules as she did. The second, she turned to athletic endeavors. First came cheerleading, followed by softball, then her own love of running. It earned her points in school, and though she didn’t have many friends, she was still a bit popular.
Just shy of her 13th birthday, a satyr appeared after softball practice to take her to Camp Half-Blood. Regina flat out refused, citing that she wouldn’t just follow a stranger, even if he was a satyr. After some begging, pleading, and a brief explanation from her mother about her father actually being a God, Regina agreed to go to Camp. There, she was officially recognized as a daughter of Cratos on her 13th birthday, and she began her new journey as a recognized demigod.
Role-playing Example: Regina ran along the shore of the Long Island Sound, looking out into the ocean. It was so vast… far more so than the Potomac. It had been a while since she’d been there. When was it last? Christmas, maybe? Yes, it had to be then. Only then and Thanksgiving did she return to DC.
Regina felt no true need to go back to the city for the school year. Why would she? As per usual, she and her mother wrote each other every Sunday, so there was no loss there. As for school and her friends… well, she could have that here. After all, demigods understood her. They gave her a challenge, a reason to show off her prowess. True, there were times that she wished she was back in the mortal world, knowing that she was far more powerful than everyone else. But ultimately, what was the point? It’s not like DC had an arena she could use to spar in. Not like the camp, anyways.
Regina realized that her thoughts had slowed her significantly. No, that would never do. No, she was a daughter of Cratos for Gods’ sake! The daughter of strength and power… she needed to be the best. And the best didn’t go this slow. Regina broke out into a mad dash, sprinting towards the woods. Yes, much better. She knew she couldn’t keep it up for too long – even the best needed rest. But for the moment, she would be as quick as Atalanta. Maybe even quicker, someday.
