"oh, they did? I'm so sorry" i said. "i never knew my parents. well, my dad and stepmom, if i had one, i mean. i guess my dad dumped me oin the door of the orphanage when i was a really little kid. i dont rember him. i was beaten upat the orphanage. all the kids used to tease me about being... different" i stopped. i didnt know why i was telling alice this. how did i know i could trust her? i turned away. i didnt want to talk with anyone. i wanted no pity, or emotion of any kind from anyone, except mabey hte. i deserved to be hated.
