Edwin's bunk

Edwin laughed. "Well then our ideas can be simple, like perhaps what we'll do for lunch?"

Nicole smiled. "I Like simple." she replied and then a few seconds later added "I also like lunch, but I'm not in the mood for camp food."

Edwin rolled his eyes. "We live in New York, real food is just out of the gates."

Nicole sighed. "Yes I know that but I just didn't want to come right out and say that we should go somewhere because I didn't want to seem overbearing or rude or anything of that sort."

Edwin yawned again. "Well we could go out right now if you want."

"Do you want to? Or do you want to take a nap? You've been yawning quite a bit." Nicole replied.

Edwin shrugged. "It's up to you, I don't care either way. I can sleep now or later and can eat now or later. Both are vital to life so I gotta do them at some point."

Nicole giggled "Sleep sounds better than food at the moment."

Edwin smiled. "Well we better make sure no harpies show up or else my hand won't be the only thing eaten."

Nicole giggled again. "And how do you suppose we harpy proof this cabin?"

Edwin smiled. "Perhaps the patented take the bunk underground and sleep with the good stuff?"

Nicole raised an eyebrow. "Underground?"

Edwin sighed. "I thought you knew some things about Hephaestus bunks. They're each programmed into little underground chambers."

Nicole shook her head. "In all of my time at camp most of it was either spent out on the archery range, with you, or on that quest. I've had no time to go over any of the things I should."

Edwin sighed. "Can you pass me the metal hand then? I'm gonna need it."

Nicole nodded and handed the hand to him.

Edwin reattached his hand, rotating it a couple times to make sure it worked. He hit a couple buttons in the wrist area, causing the bunk to descend about ten feet under the floor into a small stone room, complete with minifridge, makeshift flatscreen tv, and a laptop.

Nicole blinked. "Well that was awesome."

Edwin smiled, taking the glass case off. "Well the fridge has some of my favorite snacks and sodas and some of yours, if you want any."

Nicole smiled and nodded. "A rootbeer please?"

Edwin rolled his eyes. "You're the one on top of me, even if you don't want to be the child of Athena right now you should be somewhat aware of the situation," he joked.

Nicole pouted. "But I don't want to get up."

Edwin smiled. "Then I guess no root beer for you."

Nicole sat up still pouting. "I was comfortable" she mumbled.

Edwin rolled his eyes. "I'm not moving anywhere, you're already sitting up, it's just across from you."
