"Yep" I pull it out and open up the timer. I put my hair in a ponytail and put the lose hair back behind my ears.

"Ready set go" I hit go on the timer and watched him. I smiled and thought about how much i was starting to like him. I quickly closed my email.

i start climbing. slowly at first, then faster when i got the hang of it. after 5 minutes i got halfway up. thats where i made my mistake. i was going too fast and i hit my knee on a handhold. i was then stuck having to climb with my hands and a single foot. another five minutes and i was almost at the top. one more handhold, but it was farther off than i realized. at this point i used the leg that i hit my knee and reached for a hold a little bit away from my other foot and when i put it down i felt a jolt of pain. i reached for the handhold and brought myself up to the top of the wall. i wavsed my hand to signal that i was completely done

i grab a handhold and swing myself to the right position. being careful not to do anything stupid, i slowly make my way down. on second thought, maybe swining down wasnt the best idea. not even halfway down, my leg started twisting. i was ever more careful at the halfway point. when i got three feet from the ground i jumpeed off the wall, turned around, and rolled to take less pain from landing
