And the poison is too powerful. Sorry. It could be poison that is slow-acting and could be fatal in a few hours, but not something that can turn you blind in one shot.

Life Before CHB*: Life was actually pretty dull for her, Always tagging along with her sister. Their father was an environmentalist and traveled often for conferences, Leaving her with her sister for 2 weeks at the most with a boring aunt. On routine the monsters found them and attacked while their aunt went to the local market, leaving the girls behind to tend to the gardens, Their father came home while they were fighting off the beats and told them everything. Lo and behold, Camp Half-Blood.
RP Example*: Rainale pursed her pouty lips and began to work on the garden some more. Wiping her brow, she bent over the flower bed and began to pull weeds, then watering the plants. It was a never-ending process, but it was better then watching T.V., or just sitting around...
