The electric snake zaps above the funeral pyre with a crackling sound. The static around it sizzling with anticipation. It hasn't eaten anything in a while and is up for a freshly cooked meal.

After a few moments of waiting, the snake spots a girl some way's away ahead of it holding something. It starts approaching her while shooting a small electric blast in front of her feet.

Aurora yelped, throwing her sketchbook into the air. She backed up, quickly, into a funeral pyre and flipped over the top of it, falling over to the other side and hitting her head.

The monstrosity chuckled statically as it approached the temporarily disoriented demigod. It quickly spun around and smacked at the girl with its electrified tail, hopefully paralyzing her on the spot.

I walk in, and remember Danny. I sit down, and think of all the times we had together. I remember when I told Rachel to call him, and tell about what had happened. Then he came, and found out he was a demigod too. Then I remember that Leena never left him. And then the news that he died. That memory was a tattoo, it made an imprint on my mind.

I sheath my blade and looked at the full moon. It looked bigger here. I just gazed at it as my heart started the process of turning to ice again. This time nothing with get in. I took of the wolf necklace. "Only Fools fall in love" I said as I looked at it.
