"Well, just keep holding out, I'm sure help will arrive here soon," I say and look around. Suddenly, I see 2 hellhounds walk around a tree, revealing themselves. One of them barks at me viciously and the other licks his chops. "Uh oh," I said and grabbed my one dagger. I reach for the other one then realize it's on him. 'I'd get sick if I try and get it,' I thought to myself. 'Guess I'm going to have to battle with one dagger.' "Just hold on," I said backing up a little, holding my dagger in my hand.

I walked away from the kid lying on the ground. The hellhounds focused on me instead of the kid on the ground because I was a bigger threat. The first hellhound lunged at me and I side-stepped. I brought my dagger down, trying to get him, but he lunged out of my reach. The second hellhound ran at me and I swiped when he got too close. He disintigrated into gold dust and I turned to the other one who was getting ready to charge at me.

The other hellhound lunges at me and I sidestep again. "Fighting these guys always gets repetitve," I say. I then took a very big risk, I threw my dagger at the hellhound. The dagger spun in the air at high speed and I watched as the dagger tip came back around and stabbed the hellhound in the neck. The hellhound disintigrated and the dagger flew through him. I do a silent 'thank you,' then run over and pick up my dollar. I run back to the guy on the ground. "Are you still there?" I asked him.

I bit my lip again. It hurt to see this kid in pain and I couldn't do anything to help him. I couldn't even touch him.

I back away from the pool of blood that seemed to boil on the ground. I try to think what I should do. "Should I go get someone from the infirmary? Just to maybe give you some medicine, or a rag with cold water?" I asked him, hoping he still had the energy to reply.
