Hunting Monsters

Alexis smirked as the sun went down. "I love the dark..." She plucked a leaf off of a tree and twirled it in her fingers. "It's just so beautiful isn't it?" Alexis closed her eyes and walked slower.

[darkblue]"I can't really say so, I can barely see in the dark" he said "I think we should be careful, something doesn't feel right." Blazer said and looked around, he couldn't see to well now and his eyes weren't focusing because there was little light. [/color]

Alexis opened her eyes and looked at blazer. "Why don't you like it?" She sighed and droppe the leaf. "Its so mysterious."
She looked at the treetops.

[darkblue]"I never said that, just that I can't see well enough in it to give an opinion." Blazer said and stopped in dead tracks, hand on hist blades hilt as he looked around. He saw nothing but he swore he could have. Monsters probably loved the night, seeing as they could claim clueless victims with ease. [/color]

Alexis kept walking, deeper and farther away. "It's probably nothing blaze." She walked farther where you couldn't see her anymore.

[darkblue]Blazer sighed, but he still rested his hand on his blades sheathe just in case. Blazer started to think about where lightning was right now, hoping she was safe. When Blazer traveled to deep in thought his hair started to spark with electricity. Blazer walked close to Alex until he was right beside her. [/color]

"You feeling better scaredy cat. " Alexis giggled and pulled out her knife. "I assure you we will be okay...I can see better in the dark."

[darkblue]"Something just doesn't feel right." he said as the electricity in his hair gave off a faint light, so he could almost see enough to give him awareness. Blazer had almost forgot Alex was a Thanatos child and that most of them liked the dark and some even gloomy. [/color]

"Like what?" Alexis smirked and looked at him. She heard a faint snap of something but, ignored it.

Alexis pulled out her swords. "Do you know what it is?" She stepped closer to where the sounds came from.

Alexis walked theough the bushes and screamed as she felt sharp teeth pierce her leg. Alexis screamed out in pain. "Blaze!"

Alexis quickly stood up and limped to blazer as the remainder of the pack surrounded them. "Damn..." She unsheathed her swords and looked around. "Half and half?" She raised her swords.

Alexis summoned two skeletal warriors and commanded them to attack the hellhound. She then ran at a bigger hellhound slashing at it neck causing the hound to disintegrate. She quickly looked at the other two hellhounds, her skeletal warriors attacking one of the hellhounds.

Blazer was about to walk over to Alex when something started to constrict him. He would have fallen downs but he was held in place by something. There was a hiss sound and he couldn't move his arms and he dropped his sword. The blade clattered to the ground and then he felt something sticking at his neck and froze. Blazer didn't yell and he froze, unable to break the strong grasp that was constricting him.

The gorgon had successfully constricted the boy and now had him trapped within her clutches "don't try the electricity, I would slit your throat faster than you could discharge it." The gorgon warned as it stared at the girl fighting the hell hounds.

Alexis finished off the last off the hellhounds and smiled. She looked down at her clad, covers in blood. "[CENSORED]..." Alexis felt the light start to black out. "Blaze?"

She turned to blaze. "What's up?" It was to dark to see what was going on with him but, he was standing fairly still." Blaze are you okay?" She walked causiously to the boy.

Blazer didn't say anything, because if he did he wouldn't be saying anything again.

The gorgon his and slithered into plain site with the boy still constricted "you wouldn't want to try anything now would you?" she warned with her claw pressing into his neck, threatening to slit it quicker than she could blink.

Alexis eyes widened as she watched. "Don't hurt him..." What should I do!? Alexis stood there in shock. "Take me instead. He's not worth that much."

The gorgon smirked deviously with muse at the girls offer, only able to mentally depict how flawed it was. The gorgon laughed with pity towards the girls bluff to save the boy, squeezing Blazer harder now, only enough to narrow his air way "Or, I could call my sister over and we could eat both of you" she retorted.

Blazer's eyes narrowed in response to the pain and he gritted his teeth, making an awful wheezing sound when breathing now.
