Life Before CHB: When Sam Ryley was only 17 years old she fell in love with David (Hephaestus). Their romance was only a brief month and a few months later Sam found herself pregnant. She tried to contact David, but he was nowhere to be found.
Seven months later, Sam gave birth to the ugliest baby she had ever laid her eyes on. Unlike most parents, Sam didn’t love her child. In fact she named her Sierra after a troublesome puppy she had owned at the age of 9. She resented this girl for all that she resembled; a man who had left her, and youth that she could never have back.
Eventually this resentment festered into hatred and Sierra could tell. From the age of seven, Sierra knew that she was unwanted. This fact became horrifyingly obvious when her mother tried to kill her… twice.
The first time that it happened, Sierra was asleep. She woke up to her mother smothering her with a pillow. A pillow that was getting hotter and hotter until it was too hot for her mother to touch. That incident left Sierra with burns on her face and neck. She told people that it was an accident, something with a heater, but she never tried to run away.
The second time however, included a bathtub and this time, Sierra was scalded everywhere. She was almost twelve years old and was taken to the hospital. She told everyone that the hot water heater must have been faulty. This time, she was scarred everywhere and she ran. A week after she left the hospital, two days before her twelfth birthday, Sierra ran away from home and somehow ended up in Long Island New York.
RP Example:Sierra walked into the room and scowled. There was absouloutly nobody here. She kicked at the bed lightly and sat down. Well, who cared? She didnt really want company in the first place. She laid down on her back and looked up.
Other The first time that she saw CHB, Sierra was thrilled. They accepted her so easily and she felt smart for once in her life. Here her jumpiness was seen as a good thing and she quickly got used to reading in Greek. She even excelled in fighting and reading; something that she had never before been good at. She also found that she was talented at welding, something that she had never even heard of before.
However, about a month into camp, Sierra realized that this was a summer camp. This wasn’t her new home. She would have to leave soon. So she refused to get any closer to people. She pushed them away and sometimes hurt them. And she never regretted any of it. The only thing that ever crossed her mind in that time was how spoiled they all where. How much they deserved to be hurt.
Fatal Flaw: Isolation. (Refuses to get close to people, even if her life depends on it)
Likes: Sushi, anything with bubbles, bowling, swimming, cold weather, food, fighting
Dislikes: Organized sports, baths, loosing, books that are in English, hotness
Strengths: Creative, Loves to learn, Brave, and Persistent
OTHER LOOKS: She usually wears a pair of jeans, a t-shirt, and worn out sneakers. Her facial features are unsymmetrical and they don’t fit her face quite right
