Jess, was bored with this memory, it was sweet but really, it was boring. Then the memory shifted, she was in another hotel, this one was a Vegas casino, 'great' she thought 'this is probably a memory of my dad gambling' there was commotion at the door, the door man was trying to offer something to two boys carting another in. She walked up to them and almost had a heart attack, the boy they were carrying was Calden. They quickly went to the elevator and pressed a button, Jess rushed to get in the elevator careful not to trip over the ends of her dress. The boys were talking about him in the elevator but Jess wasn't listening, instead she was kneeling by Calden making sure he was okay. They took him to a room, and Jess followed, they set Calden on the bed and left. She sat on the other, just watching him. occasionally she got up and looked out the window, things were moving in fast forward. A sign out side told her it was the first of June, 1967.
She was back in time with calden.

The next memory was different. She had no clue where she was, there were men in uniform everywhere, many of them carried guns. A plane was landing and a bunch of men of different ages stepped out. The youngest being seven thirteen year old boys. Of those thirteen year olds, Calden was among them. They looked small so small! Their uniforms hanging off of their bodies were several sizes too large. Their helmets were so big they nearly slid off their heads.
"You boys ready?" One of the men asked the young soldiers.
"As I'll ever be!" Calden cried excitedly, his voice still young and high pitched.
Jess had to hold back a laugh, she walked up next to Calden, looking at the man who had talked to him. 'These kids are all too young' she thought 'why are they letting them fight?'

[i]The older man passed the young boys their guns. The boys could barely hold them up. They all got in buggies and were driven off to various places on the front lines. Once they were gone, the general began to speak to one of the commanding officers.
"They're just children, sir..." The commanding officer said.
"I know, but sometmes we need to make sacrifices," The general said, making it clear they were originally going to be used as nothing but fresh meet.

Jess wanted to go up and slap that General. She tried, but, well her hand went right through his head. "You need to open your eyes sarge." She told him, even though she knew he couldn't hear her. She was just venting, truthfully being in a coma was exhausting.

BIC Unfortunetly, the memory switched back to Calden's perspective. Unfortunetly, within the first two hours it became painfully clear how brutal war was. Nearly threee of the seven boys were killed.

Jess was freaked out. Three boys already gone. She went up to each of them when they were shot, and they saw her. They called her an angel. She cried as they died, their angel wasn't able to save them. She realized something, maybe she had already known it. She can only be seen by people close to death. Perhaps because she was so close to death, with her in her coma.

The scene changed again. She was in some sort of cave, in the middle was lava and a bunch of dog-seal type things. she saw something move behind a giant cauldron. She walked over and that boy she saw at the hotel, and the girl were crouched there arguing, they looked a little younger, but it was defiantly them.
"Put your cap back on" the boy said
"What? Percy! No! I'm not leaving you!" The girl said
"Annabeth" Percy said " I've got a plan. I'll distract them. You can use the metal spider- maybe it will lead you back to Hephaestus. You have to tell him whats going on."
"But you'll be killed" Annabeth protested
"i'll be fine. Besides we have no choice."
Annabeth glared at him, then she did something surprising. She kissed him, then put on a ball cap and vanished. Percy sat their for a minute, just staring. Jess waved her hand in front of his face and he snapped out of it. He ran towards the monsters, and they exchanged words. then a giant wave of water came through the wall and through him into the lava. Jess screamed as the whole scene erupted in lava. Then everything went black. The memory was over.
Jess was in a new place now. It was an island. Percy was laying on the sand with a girl kneeling over him. It wasn't Annabeth. She had almond eyes and caramel colored hair braided over her shoulder. She was wearing a long green dress. She started to sing, and Percy bright red skin started to heal. Jess kept her distance. Percy said something and the girl responded, "Shh. brave one, rest and heal. No harm will come to you here. I am Calypso." After a couple minutes, she looked up and was startled at the sight of Jess. Then she looked Jess up and down then nodded an understanding. She then picked up Percy and took him away. Time went by, Jess wasn't sure how much, but percy came out, and calypso talked to him. He walked back in the cave and she turned and looked at Jess "You cannot stay here either, time for you to move from this memory." Jess nodded and then she was back at the infirmary. The clock on the side of her bed said 6:30 am, she had been in a coma for about two days.
Jess took a seat next to Calden, she put her head on his shoulder, she was just as surprised that it didn't pass through.

Jess, wished she could be in her actual body now. Holding hands with calden. She was a little love sick. And just sick in general. She still sat next to Calden, refusing to move away from him. She now felt like she understood him, being in his memories in all "Calden. I'm sorry." she said she didn't know exactly what she was sorry about, she just felt like she needed to say it.

Jess sat there, and started to cry. She had cried so much in this coma. "I just want to be awake." she said, "Why am i stuck here?" she asked "In this stupid limbo!" she tried kicking the bed-side table but her foot went strait through it.

"No!" Jess yelled, tears were streaming down her face "Don't you dare blame yourself for this! It's all my fault. I was stupid. It was never your fault, you saved my life! without you I would've died. Just hear me now!" Jess had officially gone hysterical, she started to cry even harder.

It was on the beach, at camp. Sitting there was Percy and Annabeth, there was a piece of blue cake at their feet. She saw Annabeth lean in and kiss Percy. Jess started to cry again, would anything be that easy for her? Suddenly a bunch of campers came and picked both of them up and threw them in the lake. They didn't come up for a while, Jess figured what they were doing. "Why are you showing me this?!" she yelled "What does this have to do with anything?!"
