Gabriel walked into the forest as he pulled out his switchblade. "Stupid. Freaking. Kids," he muttered under his breath as he walked. He looked around, hoping something would come out of the shadows so he could rip it apart.

I gauze around, waiting for something to come my way. Deer, I like deer, but those seem to be hard to find here. But rabbits...I dive for one close to me, only to have it hop away, wiggling out of my hands. I resist the urge to beat the ground with my hand as I stand.

I glance around and notice fresh tracks, some kind of beast I've never dealt with. Thinking they can't have gone far, I follow them, keeping my eyes open for any signs of danger.

Gabriel looked around the area for tracks, and when he found them, he started following the trail. It wasn't that he was a good hunter or anything, not looking for normal signs, he just knew the basic concept of track following.

The hell-hound came into clear view. It snarled at Gabriel, ready to stand its ground. Gabriel held his knife out in front of himself, ready for the beast to attack.

I stand my ground as the beast comes near. The tail, Venge, watch the tail. my eyes dart from the tail to the pinchers, holding my dagger out, ready for attack.

The hellhound charged and Gabriel stepped to the side. Just as it was passing him, he pounced on it, stabbing his knife into its shoulder. The beast yelped in pain as Gabriel brought it to the ground.
