I saw the hellhounds come into view and pulled out my 2 curved blades. "Guess you didn't get a lucky roll for a giant scorpion."

The hellhound Eric slashed at disintigrated as he blade went through it. A second hellhound lunged at Eric and one ran at me. I dodged its lunge, came around, and stabbed it in the back, disintigrating it. I turned around again to see another hellhound running at me.

3 hellhounds dead, and 2 left. One ran at Eric and the other lunged at me. I sidestepped as he came at me and swung at him but missed. He came back around, faster than I expected, and caught me on the arm with his claws. I bit my lower lip and then sliced upwards at him, catching him in the jaw. He then disintigrated and I held my wound in my hand.

I prayed it was a scorpion,and I got lucky because it was"oh yeah,its go time"i said and charged at the scorpion and slashed at its leg.

The scorpion was barely affected by the hit as his sword clanged off of his armor. Although, in the process of him hitting it, a piece of shell came off and revealed a piece of skin under the armor that was a lighter color than the rest of his body. I got an idea from that and slashed at his armor with both my daggers. My daggers bounced off, but pieces of shell came off, revealing his skin. Furious, the scorpion attacked at me with a powerful downstroke with his pincer, and I quickly rolled to the right, dodging it.

The scorpion roared and then stabbed downwards at Eric as more pieces of his shell fell off. I ran over, quickly stabbed 5 times, then rolled away. More of his skin was becoming exposed which would make it easier to hit him.
