I walk up to the Climbing wall. Sweet! Now I get to die! I think. Everyone says we should try to climbing wall, that it'll make us more fearless, but at this moment I felt fearful. Fallin in lava was NOT on my to do list. When i see other campers I get a little excited. "Hi I'm Ben," I say stupidly.

Jasper jumped slightly, he was always on edge. There was an amused chattering from a squirrel sitting in a tree a safe distance away from the climbing wall. "Shut up, Idiot," he muttered under his breath to it.

Jasper glared at the kid. "You aren't invisible, and you aren't silent either," he snapped. Ben, he'd said his name was? The squirrel jumped down from the tree and ran towards the newcomer and rubbed its head against his shins. Jasper struggled hard not to to strangle the animal.

The squirrel made a beeline for Jasper and started attacking his shoelaces. Irritably, he pulled back his foot like he was going to kick him, but Idiot just jumped on his leg and found a place to sit on his shoulder. You earned your name, you did, Jasper thought darkly.

Jasper lowered his eyes to the ground. Stupid squirrel. "Acheron's the god of pain," he said slowly. Idiot curled up on his shoulder and he swatted him away. With a disgruntled sound, the squirrel scampered off.

Jasper would have liked to tell her that he could do without it for a while, but he didn't want to make her angry or start a debate that he couldn't get himself out of. So he just shrugged. "I suppose..." Jasper gave her a final nod and left.

I appeared by the bubbling pit of lava, probably the most interesting thing in camp. I could definitely use this to try killing somebody someday. I picked up a stick and threw it in experimentally, highly amused at the sizzle I heard of the burning stick.

I do a double take as I see a girl appear by the lava, throwing a stick into it. I walk over to her. "You like that sound too eh?" I chuckle.
