Archery Time

OOC:Iv'e still never seen your bow!

IC;Ash nodded and did as he instructed. "Do I shoot now?"she asked hoping she could at least hit the target.

OOC: Sorry Rae, I'll show it to you next chance I get.

Laila stepped to her own target and held the bow in her right hand, taking a aluminum practice arrow and fitting the nock to the string.

OOC:YAY!
IC:A-I do the same as my sister,slightly flustered that it's so complicated.

ooc: So, if I have a bow and she has a bow, do you have a bow?

bic:"You should probably wear an arm guard and a chest guard, if you want." I shake my head when she shot. "You shot early."

OOC:Sadly no...I feel like a loner now -.-
IC:Ash sighed. "I don't really abide to rules well." she mumbled and mirrored her sister's actions shooting the arrow straight at the target.

Laila's arms were screaming as she lowered the bow, having watched her arrow go wide of the target. She suddenly admired kids of Apollo just a little bit more.

OOC: You're not, I'm just a strange city kid who enjoys practicing with various weapons.... And if she shot the arrow straight at the target the arrow would go way above it....

OOC:So technical Kendra,please forgive the girl who knows NOTHING about archery.

IC:Ash grinned. "I don't have a perfect aim power or anything,I just have good aim."

ooc: I actually have two bows

bic: "So, stand perpendicular to the target. Stand upright without tension, in a comfortable yet firm pose. Your arms, since they should be bent slightly, should form a T of sorts."

OOC:You should give me one!! Just kidding...

ooc: I got them from Alaska!

OOC: Ok, I'll stop. Do you compete Attila?

IC: Laila sighed and adjusted her grip on the bow before nocking another arrow and drawing the string back. She followed his instructions to the letter.

Ash sighed and sat down,slowly getting bored of archery.
OOC:KEND-WA I SWEAR IF YOU DON'T PM ME BACK I WILL STAKE YOU!^.^ love you though!

ooc: No, I don't. I'm not good enough yet to even hit a target XD

bic: I nod, glad someone was listening. "Use three fingers to lightly hold the arrow on the string."

A-I look around and notice another girl kind of struggling "Yo Carl you might wanna help her to."

OOC: I really want to, but like you, I can't really shoot very well yet. :) What kind of bow do you use and what distance do you shoot from?

IC: Laila put three fingers cautiously on the string and held the arrow between her pointer and middle finger.
