"The Stone Age.... I think I'd prefer Ancient Greece and Rome. They, at least, had some pretty good thinking going on back then." I scratched my head, probably making my hair a bit messy.

I nod. "Those were good times, but back then, I guess you could say, is when 'inventing' started. Complex buildings and weapons, complex enough to make an empire and a legacy last."

"But think about it. If those things were still used and survived today, would we be better? It's a lot simpler than the guns and bombs of today."

"Actually, I say yes, it would be better. Back then, you had to have skill to use weapons like a sword or bow and arrow. Now, you just have to aim and pull a trigger, nothing skillful about that."

"Yeah. I'm glad we're learning at camp.... Just in case I buy a samurai sword and somebody tries to break into my house." I laughed, rubbing the back of my neck.

I laugh a little too. "Yeah, I'm glad that I know how to use a bow. Being in a wheelchair has a disadvantage at fighting, and I wouldn't be able to move around like most people. So being able to use a wheelchair lets me attack at long range, but if some attacks me close up, I'm basically a goner, but I do have a knife," I said pulling out my dagger from my pocket. "I also have a sword, but I'm pretty bad with it," I said.

"Well, I'm sure you can poke them with a sword pretty well." I looked at the bow and quiver of arrows at my feet. "I've got my caduceus and winged shoes.... I should be okay, usually. If not... Oh well."

I blinked. When was the last time I'd gone to school.... "Oh. I only thought in math class. I really didn't like it... too many equations and stuff."

"Yeah. My teacher showed us a geometry worksheet, and holy Athena.... I wanted to cry a little." I sighed. I didn't want to go back to school at all... Just stay here forever and talk to people like this guy. He was pretty cool.

I chuckled a little, "Yeah, I remember one day I had a timed chapter test in my math class, and if we didn't pass, we'd fail the class. So, I was just sitting there the entire class period trying to think of stuff she taught us in class. I ended up getting a 40 on the test and failed the class. I was like 'How are you suppose to do this stuff!?' Luckily, all demigods get to stay here in camp and don't have to go to school, so I guess you can say we're lucky," I said shrugging.

"Yeah, but you can't guarantee we'll survive in the real world. Y'know, lacking a lot of education and stuff... but I don't think we use geometry or algebra 2 at all in the real world. Like, seriously. I won't need to know Napoleon was French or anything in the real world unless I'm a teacher or history major."

"Eh, maybe, adding and subtracting wages just incase they ask how much they'd make in a year, but you probably don't need to know that, because if they ask how much they are going to make, you probably shouldn't hire them," I said, smiling.

I scratched my head, organizing my thoughts. "Well, then you'd have to hire people with good memory. Agile. I'd be a good waiter, but cook.... I can work on that."
