I closed my eyes just before the lasers got to the giant's chest. I knew what would happen: There would only be a smoking hole left where the light hit.

i fell onto my back but flipped up to my legs.I raised my sword and jammed it into the giants forehead.

Catos looked to Olivia and put on his best "I'm mysterious and cool" look, his deep purple eyes staring into her,

"Nice kill," he said, "My name's Catos, whats yours?" he span his sword around in his hand, which turned white and shrank to the size of a playing card, which he tossed around his fingers and slid it into his pocket. He nodded towards Nix and said, good job, you did well," before turning back to Olivia, smiling.

Cato beamed and replied,

"Umm, yes it is. I got it in Maryland while I was running away from these giants. It was rumoured to be a sort of, lucky charm against monsters. Although I was sceptical I took the gamble. It didnt work though." His british accent noticable for the first time. He looked away, his purple eyes sparkling with satisfaction, but with a hint of sadness. Shadows began to gather around his eyes, rendering his face almost unseeable, but his purple eyes seemed to shine through the darkness. He gazed towards the sky, staring at the stars in fascination.

BIC: Nix was pale, and she lost a lot of blood. "I-I'm okay." She saw Hanson, and managed to smile widely, before wincing in pain. Being the child of Ares, she would not admit being in pain. She didn't care about the new guy anymore about saving him, she just wanted to stare into the face of Hanson.
Her blonde hair covered her face, and her hazel eyes were narrowed at the pain. Her fists were clenched, and sweat poured out of her temples.

Olivia could feel the tension in the air, and immeadietly raised her mental defences. Bad things happened when you got to close to people, and she didnt want to go through that again. However, the girl Nix had lost blood, she needed help. It was a mental struggle, but her instincts won out and she decided to stay away.

Catos snapped out of his trance and notices the girl in pain. He ran over and put his hands on the wound. The Girl winced in pain put sighed calmly. Shadows began to envelope the girl, cocooning her in a blanket of shadows. He said, noticing the shocked looks from the others,

"Its a form of protection, dont worry. Its like a protective blanket against the elements, to prevent infection." He hoped his explination would be sufficient.
