I ran in with Sherlock my black lab. I spot a creature that reminded me of a cat with rabbit ears. I've never seen anything like it. I see it was alone, so I walk over, Sherlock hiding behind my legs, afraid. He was usually never afraid of anything, more like happy to meet someone new. "Hi there." I say.

I looked at the pink kitten, meowing 'nam.' What an odd thing for a kitten to say. I put my attention back to the other "cat." "It's okay, Sherlock here is nice. Never would hurt a ladybug. Unless something hurts him." I said softly as Sherlock nodded, shaking behind me. I carefully place my hand on the "cat's" head. "Are you lost?"

I take one last glance at the namming, pink cat. How cute! I look up to see the "cat up a tree. "Okay, girl, I won't touch. Just tell me, are you lost? I'd like to help." I say.
