I call horus over, trying to forget what i thought. Horus sits on my lap and looks at the girl.

Horus looked at the tiger and went to him. He rubbed his head on Mesha, purring. I laughed. "Birds dont purr, silly."

"Back in my village, horus was raised by cats. Though i got him a few weeks later and tried to get him not to purr, he purrs." i say. Horus sits by Mesha like a chicken and smirks.

"Saved you?" i ask.

"Ive got time, princess." i said smiling.

I smile at Mesha. "A hero!" i say

I look at her, sensing somethings wrong. "Hey, you ok?"

I look at the ground for a minute? I put my hand on hers. "its ok." i say smiling

I look at Mesha and nod. "I did something bad too... once..."

I get up. "I should leave." i smile weakly. "A beautiful princess like you wouldnt like a poor village boy like me." i turn away.

I stop in my tracks. "Sometimes, its better to have no one then have someone that could hurt you... Or get hurt because of you." i clinch my hand into a fist, making the water in the river move radically.

I turn my head slightly. "Im sorry, princess" i said as i sat away from her.
