"Back in my village, horus was raised by cats. Though i got him a few weeks later and tried to get him not to purr, he purrs." i say. Horus sits by Mesha like a chicken and smirks.
"Well, I sort of ran into the woods, and got lost. I sat in a tree for a long time, then Mesha found me. He helped me get back home." I said trying purpose not to give details.
"I don't mind. I'm the weird almost- orphan girl." I sigh and stand up as well. "But if you must.." Why don't you tell him about your evil father.. Thank the gods he is gone..
I stop in my tracks. "Sometimes, its better to have no one then have someone that could hurt you... Or get hurt because of you." i clinch my hand into a fist, making the water in the river move radically.
My eyes widened, I agreed with Ahmose. But I had no clue what he was talking about. Me? I thought to myself even though I knew Mesha would here. "I know what you mean.." I winced at the thought.
I sit down next to Ahmose. I take a deep breath. "There's no way you could have done anything worse than me. I killed my own father out of hate." I waited for the pain to come but it didn't. "I don't even regret it.."
