What kind of pain do the people feel? How long does it last?

Depends on what they did. Seconds. Because it happens instantaneously.

So, if they stabbed somebody once, they'd feel exactly the amount of pain they had inflicted on their victim? How many seconds does it last? How does he know what they did in the past?

Yes. 2-5 seconds. He doesn't. But when he does this he kinda searches the soul for misdeeds.

I see. Can he do this on multiple people at one time? Can he do this more than once a day on the same person, using the same misdeed?

No. No. He can't use it on the same person more than once a day.

I suggest there be a limit to how much pain he can cause.... Can he do emotional pain too?
