"Oh, uh really?" I scratched my head and pulled out my notebook. I flipped through the pages of detailed sketches of people and drawings of creations in my head.

Her eyes widened and she grabbed the notebook looking at all on the beautiful sketches of people and images. "These are beautiful!" She flipped through more of them an smiled brightly.

I chuckled. "Ok, you can teach me guitar, but I don't think you can fix this gorgeous voice of mine." Just as I say that my voice cracks. I begin laughing again.

I strum down once, making a noise come from the guitar. I looked up shocked, "That actually sounded okay!" I was expecting a nails on the chalkboard noise to come from it. "Thanks, Layla."

I switched strings and strumed again. Another noise came from the guitar. I was actually making music. "Wow, this isn't too hard. Why don't you play something else for me? Something very impressive?" I wanted to see how the pros did it.

I listened to the changes in her chords and the words. I began to write and describe her and her singing. I had to preserve my whole experience here for Alex and Ellie.

I glanced up at her and smiled. "Notes. And stuff." I flipped through the sheer number of pages filled with everything. "I write letters home to my brother and sister. I like taking notes in the moment, it makes them feel like they're almost here. Especially when my mother reads it." I smiled and pulled out a picture of the little, incredibly tan, browned eyed twins, Alex and Ellie.

I smiled at the picture and put it back in my bag. "I wish I could say they came from this attractive gene pool," I said pointing at my face, laughing. "They were adopted when I was about 8. They idolize me, but I'm never home anymore. So, I send them letters."
