"Let's go then." Elise smiled and put his good arm over her shoulder and used her other arm to hold him up. "Come on sleepy head."

Re: Cabin's Courtyard
Benjamin rolls his eyes at the latest antics of some Aphrodite child who thought she could win over the affections of one of his half-siblings easily. She is currently sobbing, hands on her face as she laments her crush's disinterest. He turns away from the display in disgust, attempting to return his attention to his book. He shifts, trying to get comfortable on the thick tree limb he's perched on. He gives up, and tucking his book under his arm, he tries to scoot closer to the trunk of the tree to climb down. He miscalculates a step, and comes crashing down. Once he's regained the ability to breathe properly, he curses, with feeling.

Re: Cabin's Courtyard
she'll flounce in,
a smile & eyes crinkled,
fruitful was she.
dark tresses cling to her forehead, pallid lids flickering to a close.
astrid clasps her hands together,
jovial as a breath expels into the wintry air,
cheeks rusted with pink hues.
'are you alright?'
she knew naught of the man's moniker, and she notices the follies he mutters.
still, she feigns ignorance.

Re: Cabin's Courtyard
He sits up on his elbows, rolling his eyes. "Of course I am, it's not like I just fell from a tree." The sarcasm is slightly marred--his voice is hoarse, due to the wind being knocked out of him at his fall. He shakes his head, the leaves flying from his dark hair. He's in a bad mood; his recent experiment went wrong, and he has to start all over again. "Why do you care, anyway?" He grumbles, getting up.

Re: Cabin's Courtyard
a tongue flickers out,
wetting chapped lips,
amusement flickering.
the kind child will watch,
contemplating as what to quip back.
"why shouldn't i care?"
a simple question will linger,
shoulders rising acclivitous.

Re: Cabin's Courtyard
Benjamin gets up and brushes his trousers off, when she asks the question. His knee-jerk reaction was to say, "Because caring is not an advantage," with a slight sneer in his voice. He said it, but then hesitated. No one had asked him that question, not ever. He tried to mask his confusion by muttering, "Where's my dxmn book," and looking around for it, his pale grey eyes sweeping the ground.

Justin walks out of the Athena Cabin listening to his iPod. His music is playing very loud in his orange, over ear head phones. He walks heavily on the grass. His head down, deep in thought.

Re: Cabin's Courtyard
One of the things Jana Kay loved most, at Camp, was to make plants grow with the help of music. She would often go to the strawberry fields with some of her siblings, a couple of satyrs and Persephone children to increase the growing speed of the little fruits and it always made her feel so good to be in the middle of a field. It was tiring, but rewarding.
However, right now, all the satyrs had gone to the lake or to the forest and she could not find any, so she just took her electric violin and went out into the little garden around the Demeter cabin. Putting the instrument between her shoulder and cheek, she put some font music on her iPod then started playing Elements by Lindsey Stirling. Soon enough, plants were starting to peep out of the ground, the flowers opened up, their fragrance intensifying, and it would have gone on if a boy had not bumped into Jana, leading her to interrupt her music.
"Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't see you arriving!" she told the blonde boy with the headphones, her Scottish accent poking through.
Even if it was not really her fault, she always felt better apologizing first.

Re: Cabin's Courtyard
I pull my headphones down around my neck and pause the music. "I'm sorry, I didn't see you either." I say looking at her. I was slightly upset when I had bumped into her. I was upset because I was slipping into my own world of serenity.

"I hope you're not hurt," Jana said, the boy looked a bit upset.
She lowered her electric violin and smiled at him. "You're Justin, right?"

"No I'm not hurt, just-" I pause and look closer at her. "Not to be rude, cause I suck at remembering names, who are you?" I ask trying to be polite.

Re: Cabin's Courtyard
Jana laughed. Even though many people at Camp knew her, because she was one of the oldest and was also popular because of her kindness and openness, it was always nice to meet new people.
"I'm Jana Kay, from the Demeter cabin. That cabin right next to yours. I heard Annabeth call you once during sword fighting training."

"Oh, okay." I reply, wishing I could make myself walk away, and go listen to music.

Re: Cabin's Courtyard
She noticed he was not really in the mood for talking, so she put her violin back on her shoulder.
"Sorry to have bothered you," she said with a smile. "Have a nice day!"
