Rose chose the noble path by rushing to her teammates's aid. Now they were on the other side of the smoke screen, it was easier for Sawyer to watch what was going on. Christopher left Ashlee and Stacy the moment he spotted Rose dashing towards them like a panther and started exchanging angry, frenetic blows with the daughter of Demeter. Jillian, on her side, was tussling with Stacy, who was pushing her back to the river. But the daughter of Ares didn't let go and was fighting back like a tiger, aiming hits at everything she could. Ashlee, on her side, was still lying helplessly in her celestial bronze wire cocoon.

Sawyer curled her lips back in a smirk, reverting her vision back to infrared.

"Where are you..." she asked in an inaudible whisper, scanning the area. She slowly released the smoke screen; she would not need it anymore, and it was clouding her vision. The moment she let go of it, the tendrils started fading away into thin air, and it was as if the world passed into HD.
    There he was.
Sitting in a tree, perfectly hidden from normal sight by branches and leaves, he had nocked three arrows at once.
There was not one second to spare. Sawyer stood up, concealed by the metamaterials woven into her armor and made her way towards the river. She took out a glitter bomb, uncapped it, and threw it at the tree the boy was in.

Rose engaged Christopher with furious strikes, slamming her blade into his and trying time and time again for some sort of flaw she could exploit. Sawyers blade held, just as Thorne knew it would as she slipped her hand into her pocket and got out her garden shears, slamming the blade into one of the straps in his armor, severing it and causing the heavy plates of metal to slide. Thorne smirked, sheathing the special blade with patterns of waves across it to transform her shears into two identical swords, which she grasped in each hand. Now she had the advantage against Christopher, though she was worried about Ashlee and Julian, which forced her to hesitate only for a moment in her frenzy of slashes.

She knew she had to get to her other teammates and free them if she had even a shred of hope to find the flag before the enemies planned work...then she heard the bang of a glitter bomb, the flash appearing in the corner of her eye as the smoke dissipated.

[color=olive]Jackson watched as the smoke cleared and held his bow ready, his ears detecting the sounds of battle down the river. He aimed towards the fighters, taking a moment to decide who was on what team when a shiny ball started hurtling towards him. He swung back as fast as he could, striking the ball...but it only made his issues worse.

He wasnt prepared for what happened, the flash blinded him, making him drop his bow while the harsh concussive sound disoriented his balance and he fell from the tree, hitting the ground with a crack. The son of Apollo grunted, pain racing up his arm and in his knee as he rolled onto his back, staring up into the sky. He coughed a little, the smoke having managed to mess with the air he breathed. Looking around slowly, he saw his bow, but it was too far away, plus his arm would make it hard to fire.

Switching to his last resort, he pulled arrows out of his quiver and began to throw them into the ground around him, waiting for an enemy to come for him so he could use the remote detention on the tips.

Christopher cursed in Ancient Greek as Thorne cut through a strap of his armor, causing the whole protection to slide sideways, momentarily unbalancing him before clanking to the ground.

"Nice move," Christopher stated, noticing she was taller than him. And lashed out at her legs.

Sawyer crossed the river as silently as she could, still in camouflage. She immediately recognized the boy as Delta, from the Apollo's. He was a nice guy, albeit sometimes a bit arrogant. He had his arrows around him, emptying his quiver, but his bow had fallen away from him, situation to which Sawyer smirked.
She walked over to his bow and picked it up.

Briefly switching the camouflage off, she looked at Delta. "I'll keep that one," she told him, and reverted her armor to invisible. The daughter of Hephaestus walked back over the boulders, keeping the bow in the water so it would not be spotted by the others, and hid it in a bush, before leaning against a tree, watching the scene with her hand on her axe. She was waiting to see where she would need help. Rose had somehow cut through Christopher's armor, making the whole thing fall down, while Jillian and Stacy were still engaged in a raging battle.

Thorne smirked at him, allowing him a second for his armor to slide off and clank into the ground. "Thank you" she spoke, in Greek of course before beginning to block and counter strike his swings. She was good with two swords, but not perfect. As Thorne began to move so her back was towards her allies, and not the unknown forest she felt the cold metal of his blade slam into her shin plate, grazing against her knee with a long; but shallow cut. Blood began to leak from the minor wound, and the tall redhead had to move that foot back to prevent further injury as she used one of her blades to defend against his strikes, while thrusting the other in an effort to hit his hand and disarm him. If she could disarm him, she planned on knocking him out and helping her other teammates.

Thorne risked a moment to check on the furious combat between Julian and Stacy, but couldn't tell who the victor was from her current position: she had to keep her attention on Christopher, while making sure she wasn't ambushed from another front.

Jackson cursed at sawyer after she left, now he had no chance of even getting his bow back and he hasn't had time to remotely detonate his arrow tips. Now he had to wait for either his legs to feel up for walking, wait for help, or wait for an enemy.

He sighed and drew his standard sword, laying in wait at the bottom of the trees for someone. Then a thought came to him and he began to crawl to the river, slowly while ignoring the pain in his body as much as he could.

Christopher continued fighting Thorne, but he began to grow a bit tired, his moves slowing down, his muscles straining to swing his heavy sword. Thorne was obviously more trained than he was, and all he had inflicted on her was a superficial cut in her leg.

Sawyer noticed Jackson crawling over to the river and curled her lips back in a silent hiss. Should she throw another glitter bomb at him? She had only three left....

Thorne smirked, sensing by the change in his movements and attacks that he was wearing out. She smirked and thrusted towards his hands, attempting to disarm the boy and then make sure he slept through the rest of the game. She noticed her allies fighting, and stepped back towards the spring trap where her friend was still wrapped in the strands which bound her.

Jackson groaned, his hands into the water now as he pulled himself into the current, allowing it to sweep him down towards the fighting. Putting his hand in his quiver, he grabbed his last arrows.

Christopher's sword clanked to the ground as Thorne disarmed him, slicing at his hands. A bright red line appeared in his palms, but he suppressed the pained wince that came to his lips.

Jillian noticed Thorne from the corner of her eye, getting closer to Ashlee. Oh no, you ain't, she though and aimed a hit with her shield at Ashlee's head, meaning to knock her unconscious.

Sawyer saw Jackson get into the river, taking arrows out. Throwing a glitter bomb now was too dangerous, it could kill him. No, she to stop him some other way. Shouldering her axe, she stepped onto the boulders and came towards him silently, holding her axe ready in order to knock him out.

Thorne watched as a line of red appeared on Christopher's hand and smirked, spinning close to him to slam the back of one of her swords across his head, meaning to knock him unconscious. Then she turned, and instantly noticed that Ashlee was in danger from Jillian. Without hesitation, Thorne ran towards her bound friend and slid like she was playing baseball, raising her swords in succession in the far fetched wish she could stop the shield in time from knocking her friend out.

Jackson was almost to the fight, watching the redhead (Thorne) battle her way to victory against one of the boys. Noticing that one of the other girls was about to hit his teammate with a shield he knew he had to help, somehow.

The Ohioan boy ripped one of the tips off of his arrow, activating the timer detention before throwing it like a grenade into the midst. Honestly, he doubted it would have much effect since it was only a net arrow, but if it could enrapture the enemy, it would pay off. He failed to notice sawyer as he began to work on another tip to throw.

Christopher fell to the ground, unconscious, while Ashley managed to bring her shield down on Ashlee's head, who slumped down, out cold.

OOC: I got permission to do this from Zach.

BIC: Sawyer aimed a blow with the handle of her axe at Jackson's skull, crouching on the boulders. She wasn't sure it'd be enough to knock him out, but if it didn't, then Jillian and her would be outnumbered.

Well, there was always Sawyer's plan B....

Thorne got up and faced Jillian, swords held ready as she growled. "That was a cheap shot" she said as began to aid her teammate in attacking the girl, not noticing Jackson coming down the river towards them.

Jackson didn't know what hit him, but suddenly he felt something strike his head and he collapsed into the water, unconsious. Now...he only had to survive until he came too, and not drown.

Jillian carried on fighting like a lioness. She was a daughter of Ares, she spent her time fighting; two little Demeter children couldn't possibly get the best of her.
But that was when one of Jackson's arrows exploded next to her, projecting her back. Jillian's head hit a boulder in the river and she flopped down, out cold, her spear gliding out of her hand.

Sawyer had grabbed Jackson under the arms and dragged him onto one of the boulder to keep him from drowning, and rose her hand just to see Jillian falling against a rock. Rose and Stacy, obviously thinking they had won, were now dashing away into the forest. Sawyer briefly considered running after them but she remembered Lakisha was guarding the flag with the other boy... She'd better stay here in case they actually got the flag.

Oh Gods, where is the flag?? He yelled out in his mind. He knew he was close, but he just couldn't find it. How could they hide their flag in plain sight like this. Zane was quickly starting to panic. He knew if he didn't find the flag, he'd have let his team down, and he couldn't handle disappointing that many people. He continued dashing through the trees, hopping from one branch to another, always on the lookout for a flag or even another human being.

He looked ahead of where he was headed and saw a clearing up ahead that he hadn't checked. Oh, please let the flag be there. He begged to himself as he got closer. He stopped quickly on a branch at the very edge of the clearing, peering out across it. He saw the one thing that could have made him happy now, the enemies flag. He immediately starting fishing around in his pocket for the little device that Sawyer had given him. After a few seconds of not finding it, he started panicking once again. Oh no! Did I lose it? He asked himself as he continued looking. Yes! There it is! He cried out happily as he drew the little machine from his jacket pocket.

Sawyer said to press it, so I guess i just.. He trailed off as he squeezed it in his hand, hearing a little click like a button being pressed.

Thorne ran off into the woods with Stacy, since they were the only two that had survived the ambush and smoke screen. Thorne was still a title worried though, she had encountered about three... maybebe four of the enemy, which meant there was still other enemies somewhere in the forest that could be guarding the flag or looking for her own teams flags.

She reminded herself to thank whoever had tossed the explosive that had knocked Jillian out, it would've been much, much harder to defeat a child of war without it. Looking to her half sister, she motioned for her to stay close before breaking into a sprint in search of the flag.

Angelina was watching around for any sign of movement around her, and caught one a little far away from where they were. Angelina could not tell who it was, or even tell if it actually was a person or not. She bent a little down from her branch and whispered to Miles, "I think someone is there, keep your arrow ready, but don't fire it right now, I don't know if the person knows that the flag is here." Miles nodded and did it, his eyes fixed in that direction. Angelina gripped Adamas tightly, making herself ready for whatever it was..

    Buzzzzz.

"What was that?" Clara asked, spinning around.

Robert indicated the chip in his hand. "He found it?" He nodded. "Yeehaw! Come on, son of Ares!"

And, taking the chip from his hand, she dashed off in the woods, Robert close behind. Keeping an eye on it she followed the line, even though it disappeared a couple of seconds later. But Clara didn't mind, she had memorized it.

Soon enough, they arrived at a clearing, and Clara stopped dead in her tracks. She could see Zane, almost invisible in the shadows, and then the blue flag. In the clearing. With one person guarding it. Winking at Robert, she entered the clearing in a sprint, darting at the flag's guardian with her spear while shouting a war cry.

Miles' let the arrow fly into the direction of those two people, and at the same moment Angelina jumped down, the sword ready in her hand. She did not want to hurt anyone badly, and promised herself that the point of the sword will only touch the limbs of the two. The rest of the work her shield could do, it was heavy enough to hurt anyone. Angelina hoped it remain two, or else they will be outnumbered. And she did not want that. Miles took another arrow and shot it in their direction. The two children of the wisdom goddess blocked the way to the flag, Miles on the rear and shooting and Angelina on the front out of Miles' way. And the trees made the access by some other way impossible. They had get past to get to the flag.

An arrow came flying at them, but Clara deflected it with her shield. Just at that moment, another girl jumped down a tree. Clara recognized both as children of Athena, goddess of strategy, combat and intelligence.
Oh sh*t, Clara thought. But both her and Robert kept running at them. Clara ran right and charged the girl while Robert went to the boy.

Thorne had been rubbing for quite a while now and finally, she caught a glimpse of the flag. Laying low, and hopefully out of range she told her sibling to keep an eye on the guards while she prepared to commence her personal plan to run in and snatch the flag. However, she was frightened of the guards powers.

Dean was standing all alone next to the flag. He didn't know where Lakisha was and was starting to seriously get bored, if not for that hint of stress and pressure because of the possibility an enemy might shoot out of the woods at any time.

Bushes rustled suddenly and immediately, the son of Hecate readied his bow and arrows, notching two arrows at once. He could see something red advancing like, ... like hair? Was there a redhead on the other team?
Lakisha where are you, he thought, but was determined to fight.

Thorne crouched low and frowned as she only saw one person guarding the flag. Wouldn't there be two...? She wasn't sure, but there had to be at least someone nearby. Cautiously she moved around in the brush so she could visible see the guard, her hands each holding a sword. The child of demeter nodded to her sister who then slowly began to circle in the other direction.

She waited a few more moments and then charged from one front, her sister from the other. She smirked, hoping for a victory, rubbing towards the flag while her sister went for the guard to engage and distract so she could get the flag and then run back.

Dean spun around. Two of the enemies arrived straight at him, a tall red-haired one and a shorter one with blonde hair. Oh dammit. If they had made it past the Hephaestus kids... could he really hold them off?
And where was that gods forsaken daughter of Khione, huh? Probably went off on her own to find the flag herself, that piece of arrogance.

Thorne saw the singular arrow and jumped into the air, performing a simple flip to avoid the arrow and continue on running towards him. As her shorter sister moved closer as well, weapon outright to engage the guard while Thorne circled around and went straight for the flag.

It was within her grasp now, and she eagerly clutched the pole with her hand, smirking. Now all she had to do was run back across the river and the victory would be for her team!

Dean engaged the other girl, but too late he saw the other one lunging and grabbing the wooden pole of the flag.
He thought the game was over and he would not be able to take it back when suddenly, the water hardened. The temperature dropped a couple of degrees as a crust of ice quickly spread in a circle of one meter and a half around and under the flag, creeping up the pole to keep it there and preventing the girl from taking it.

Lakisha's soft soled shoes didn't make one sound as the daughter of Khione came out of the forest, picking her way where leaves and branches were rare, pushing down softly on the leaves she found to press them instead of crunching them flat. She emerged into the creek, her bow notched with two arrows, each directed at one child of Demeter.

    "Freeze," she coldly told them.

Thorne let go of the pole, turning to face her new oppenant. She knew who it was, obviously it was lakisha the cabin leader of the khione cabin. With a smirk across her face she held her swords ready and walked towards her "I'm much to warm to simply freeze" she countered as her sister continued to engage the other guard.

Thorne managed to break out of the ice crust circling her knees and came forward, ice dust still clinging to her legs. Lakisha let one arrow fly. It lodged itself in the tree, right next to Thorne's face.

"Oops," the cold daughter of Khione arrogantly stated, taking out another arrow. "Better luck with the next shot."
