Thorne frowned, twin swords held ready as she walked towards her. I've clung to her legs, but she ignored the pangs of cold and ice as she quickly broke into a run towards lakisha, swinging both swords from opposite directions down upon her once in range.

Behind he she could hear the battle of the other guard and her half sister, but couldn't rush a glance to check on her while fightig lakisha.

Lakisha forces herself to wait a couple of seconds before jumping out of the way like a panther, dancing to the left. Leaving the shore and stepping onto the cold crust, she ran to be standing in front of the red flag; there, she stood with perfect ease and assurance on the slippery ice, and turned her bow into her dagger, holding her shield ready.

"Want the flag? Come and get it!" she laughed.

Thorne looked at the ice and knew that she would more than likely slip on the slick surface, unlike lakisha. The redhead began to think quickly, trying to figure out a way to get to the flag when she had a few ideas appear. Hurriedly combining them, she began to approach both lakisha and the flag, each step making her come a little bit closer to the flag as she held her swords defensive and ready. Hopefully, she could balance ion the ice long enough to touch solid ground.

Lakisha watched her approach hesitantly with an amused smirk, then made a throwing gesture with her hand, making the ice even more unsafe. Her manipulative game had worked: she had made Thorne come on the ice, where Lakisha was strongest, and now she could defeat her. Like the Ancient Greeks, her ancestors, she chose the terrain before anything else.

"You're slow," she haughtily says, then attacks her, finding her footing naturally on the sleek, glossy surface of the ice, pouncing like a wild cat, aiming at her shoulder while preparing a shove to her other side with her shield.

Thorne gasped, sliding to the side and falling with the shove. She really needed good hard land to win this battle...even good footing would give her a fighting chance as she stood slowly, eyeing lakisha. She would have to outsmart, or out manuaver her in her own element which had to be nearly impossiblezz

Angelina waited for the girl to come and attack first, as Miles' arrows went flying at the boy. The shield in Angelina's hand felt heavy and she felt like throwing it away, but she somehow managed to handle it. She moved two steps ahead, with the shield in front of her to defend herself. Angelina's mind quickly went through all the kinds of moves and attacks she knew, she was good with swords, especially with Adamas, which felt as if was made for Angelina. It's length and it's weight perfect for her, and somehow the sword made her feel confident. The children of Athena waited for the enemy to come closer.

Lakisha turned around, waiting for Thorne to get back up, twirling her dagger in her hand. When she was on ice, it seemed even her senses had switched to HD.

Robert protected himself from the arrow with his shield, while Clara ran at the girl, hacking and stabbing with no scheme at all.

Thorne slowly stood, using her weapon to stand up and noticed a large stick under the iced she smirked and stabbed the blade into the iceC for both support and to break it.

Thorne stabbed the ice, making cracks shoot through it, reaching Lakisha's feet. It was hot enough as it was, and the cracks plus the heat made the ice slowly melt. Lakisha's shoes stood started to get wet. She tried to freeze it again, but her power needed to recharge and only white icicles escaped her fingers.

Thorne grinned at lakisha and stabbed the ice again, pushing her hand into the water and grabbing the stick. She could feel it shift and change into a heavy staff as she pulled it up and threw it at lakisha, before grabbing both swords and charging at her as fast as she could on the cracking ice.

Lakisha deflected the shaft with her shield, who thudded with the impact, sending pain into her shoulder, then Thorne attacked on the cracking ice, lunging for her. Lakisha was a bit taller, so she aimed blows at her head and shoulders rather than at her waist and stomach which were guarded by her armor.

But the weight of the two demigods was too much for the already broken ice. They had not exchanged more than five blows when a huge CRACK was heard and both collapsed into the water, ice chunks floating around them like icebergs.
Lakisha broke the surface, the sudden cold giving her a refreshing adrenaline boost, and she lunged at Thorne with her dagger.

Thorne gasped sharply as she collapsed into the cold water, though had expected this and was not too bothered by the cold. However, she could only assume that lakisha gained strength by this and quickly held up her twin swords to block her blows, exchanging with her own as she attempted to disarm or knock her out. She stepped forward through the water, slashing and stabbing while dodging and blocking her own strikes; not an easy opponant but one that actually knew how to fight.

Behind her she could hear the sounds of battle fade and could only hope that her half sister had defeated the other guard.

Ooc: Again, person who locked the topic, we're still posting, thank you :)

Bic: The water was slowing down their movements, giving the opponent more time to find out and parry. Lakisha kept on fighting, then she saw Dean lying on the ground with the girl standing over him; he had lost. A cold smile froze onto her face.

"Here," she said, grabbing the pole of the flag and pulling it out. "Take the flag."

Thorne hesitated, not sure whether to expect a trap or not. "Throw it to me lakisha" She told the girl evenly, panting as she held her swords tightly.

Lakisha laughed her ice cold laugh and tossed the flag to her, before throwing a glitter bomb at the other girl, shielding her eyes just before the impact. A deadening sound erupted, blinding light filled the vision, then everything went back to normal.

"What are you waiting for, a kiss? Get on with it!"

Sawyer heard the glitter bomb explode and readied herself; slowly she activated her powers and turnrd her armor back into camouflage mode.

On their side, Clara and Robert were still fighting the Athena kids.... But the flag was gone. And so was Zane.

Thorne grabbed the flag from the air and ran hard, she had to cross the border as soon as she could. Unfortunately she ha to sheath one sword to carry the flag as wel. Running over the sea leaves and leaping over the logs she ran for the border, and hopefully a victory.

When Thorne arrived, a good part of the shore had been turned into what looked like a volcanic area. Lava was seeping through fissures in the ground, dangerously hot, smoke was rising lazily, and the whole ground looked like embers had been hidden under it.

Sawyer was standing in the middle of this, her feet bare as her shoes probably would not have held out such temperatures. The lava was licking her ankles and toes, not doing any harm as the brawny Latino looked at Thorne, her armor still in camouflage, so in invisible mode.

Thorne gasped as heat washed over her from the shore, a sight from an apocalyptic movie waiting there. Lava, real lava was between her and the border...it would be too long to simply run around it an she couldn't go over it...wait! As she watched over the surface of a the leave me he saw two marks which were not filled, the size and shape of feet. This was a demigods trick, and all she had to do was defeat the demigod.

    "Who's there?!"

"Me," Sawyer said, flicking her armor back to normal.

She stepped through the lava effortlessly, no trace of pain on her face as she walked towards Thorne.

"You got something that belongs to us, there."

Clara knew Zane was there somewhere, but she didn't know how many times he had shadow-traveled already. Once? Twice? He'd be at the border soon.

    OOC: Sorry for not posting

The two kids of Athena continued to fight, not checking on the flag. The girl did have fast moves but Angelina was able to deflect them with a bit of difficulty as the girl was just randomly stabbing and slashing without any technique. Then as Angelina turned for a moment to take a look at the flag, she realised that it was not there anymore. When and how? Angelina did not know. But she did know that the person would be moving no where but to the border. Angelina deflected the attack of the girl and then cried, "Miles to the border! Come on!" Miles already had blood dripping down his arm, but he nodded and finding a gap he ran along with Angelina towards the border- the river.
