Entry #10

Hello Campers!

First off I hope you liked our 1st April prank, huehuehue. I saw some took it seriously, so I apologize for the em... emotional roller coaster? Anyway, now to another entry in the admin agenda.
1- Lottery week! Yep, that one kind of fell into oblivion, it seems, so it's time to take it back out.
2- A Roman combat event is to take place as soon as Capture the Flag is finished.
3- An amazing event thought by Chrissy should take place very soon, I won't say what it is (I ain't spoiling the surprise ^^).
4- Tom and I are discussing rewards for the month's best posts (quality and length taken into account). We still have to sort several things out for that one.
5- Easter, Easter, Easter.....another egg hunt like last year is taking place on April 20th, more details in the upcoming announcement.
6- Staff! Staffy staff is getting merged. Soon there will be only three groups: admins, moderators and approvers. This also means, people are going to be promoted ;)

Ooh! I think I might make a roman charrie just so I can do the combat thing!
Promotions! Yay!(I know no one wants to promote me, but hey, let me be optimistic for once)

Of you want more feedback, here it is:
I like the contests(stories, poetry, charrie forms, etc)
I like the idea of mentors(though I never used one) but I disagree that there should only be mentors for beginners on the site. Maybe we could has like an html/bbcode mentor, or a website creator/designer mentor. Maybe a mythology mentor. It may seem a little something you should do of site(like I you want to learn how to html code) but it would be cool to have classes you could sign up for and learn good stuff and whatnot.

Seeing this is mainly RPing, html/bbcode or web design mentors are not priority, but I'm positive we can put some useful links in a topic for people who're interested.

More seriously, we can also just put a topic up where people ask questions on myths. That way, there is more variety in the replies, since one person can have flawed knowledge over something.
