The new kid [Finished]

Nathan dragged one of his blades across her shield in order for his wrist to clash with her's in order to stop the pommel from hitting his head. He pulled the other blade away long enough to catch a glimpse of the blade lunging at him from behind and he moved out of the watching the kid's blade smack against Chiara's shield. Nathan vanished out of the equation and regained himself waiting to see what either of them did to each other or to himself.

Nathan watched the fighting with a smirk as he contemplated how he would attack them..if he even would.

Nathan chuckled at her comment and then rushed back into the fray catching one of John's stray strikes with his sword and then slashed at Chiara expecting her to catch his other blade. "Mind if I cut in?" He muttered to John, kicking at the boy before trying to continue the fight with Chiara.

Nathan blocked the attack to his legs, his shoulder getting cut but not too badly given his protective armor. He glanced out the corner of his eye and side-stepped as John aimed for Chiara's Shield. Nathan found the moment perfect to vanish and reappear, picking up Chiara's spear, in the process sheathing his swords. The spear wasn't his first weapon of choice, but he could fight decently with it, and he felt the moment too perfect to pass up. Nathan vanished again, starting to feel the pain in his head flair up as he got closer to the 25 yard mark on his powers. He pushed the pain away in favor of the conflict he was in and quickly rejoined the fray, aiming an attack at John, then quickly reeling back on Chiara to catch her and trip her up.

John kicked at her shield but she aimed a hard push back at him, meaning to unbalance him. Then Nathan disappeared, but she didn't care. Even if he was cowardly enough to attack her from behind, she'd beat him, she thought.
He reappeared soon enough, brandishing her spear.
Her spear. How dare he?

Chiara kicked some sand at Nathan's eyes when he came lunging at her but understood his move too slowly. He tripped her up and she fell, though managed to grab his armor in an attempt of dragging her into her fall.

Nathan felt himself get dragged to the ground, tumbling on top of Chiara. Unfortunately that wasn't all that could be said that happened. First to be told was that in the position he fell, John's strike to Chiara's sword hand was blocked by his arm, which left him with a stinging cutting. As for the other thing well...easiest to say is that gravity is terrible at jokes. There on the ground, Nathan found himself with his lips pressed against Chiara's, an accidental kiss but still and yet a kiss indeed. Nathan pulled away as quickly as he realized what had happened, but given getting hit upon his fall it wasn't immediate and when he pulled away he found a mix of rush, shock, and the need to flee before she strangled him. Vanishing quickly, the spear being left by her side, he stood there, spitting onto the ground as if trying to get rid of the taste of her lips.

'Don't act like you didn't enjoy it.' 'What? No, just no..' 'It's better than when you woke up with her in your arms in that hotel..' 'Dear gods, no. It's just not right at all..' He mentally debated as he tried to get back to the fight, knowing full well that Chiara wasn't going to leave without burying that spear in his chest and lopping his head off with that xiphos.

Nathan could've avoided getting knocked to the ground or the sword being pointed at his eye but he just stood there and let it happen. He heard her threat and with-held himself from a proper retort. "You act like I wanted that to happen." He coughed up, having trouble breathing with her on his chest. "At..least it's obvious neither of us enjoyed nor want to talk about this at all. But what do we do about the unwanted eyes over there..." He said trying to distract her rage to keeping John silent.

Nathan stood again and dusted himself off before drawing his swords again to continue fighting. He saw John charge at Chiara and Nathan smirked deciding to piss Chiara off by butting into her fighting. He vanished, and reappered, slashing at John in an attempt to knock away his blade and leave a cut on his face. Nathan winced, trying to hide the pain that was seering in his head now as he hit the 25 yard mark that was accompanied by a brain-splitting headache. He was good at hiding, but he knew that if anyone would notice this new found handicap it was Chiara, John, as far as he knew, didn't have the battle experience to think anything of the wincing except for the few stinging cuts that he had.

Nathan found himself caught between John and Chiara as they fought to disarm one another. He groaned for a moment and then kicked at John's gut and then attempting to flip Chiara over his shoulder, unfortunately dropping his weapons in order to do this maneuver.

((Soo, how much longer y'all want to keep the fight going?))

Chiara managed to maneuver out of his disarming move, but the next second the world made a salto around her as Nathan flipped her over his shoulder, making her land in the sand.

The daughter of Ares jumped back up, her red curls blazing around her overly freckled face, her nose bleeding, and aimed a stab at Nathan accompanied by a hit with her hoplon.
