A walk through my mind

"Ok. Maybe a year or two. " matthew answered.

Andria nodded, looking around. "I see"

"How about you?" He asked and looked over at her.

"I've forgotten just how long it has een"

"Ah. I see. I love it here at camp, but I'd hate and love it at the same time to go back out there. I can't decide."

Andria nodded slowly "that makes sense"

There was an awkward silence. "I'm out of topics to start. What about you?" He asked, bored.

Andria pressed her finger to her chin in thought before speaking. "Do you like combat?"

Matthew's eyes lit up. "I'm not yang good in close range but I'm one of the best archers in our cabin!" He proclaimed.

Andria smirked "oh? What type of arrows?"

"Stygian iron romantic era 1.5 foot long arrows. Carbon arrow type, made to splinter to harm the target more-or the user, if not handled properly." Matthew said and pulled one of the arrows out of his quiver, pulled his bow off his shoulders, and shot a stray stymphilian bird that rose from the trees. Those things never left. Matthew saw some feathers fall to the ground and dashed to pick them up. "Stymphilian feathers!" He exclaimed and practically shoved them into his quiver. He shook the quiver and opened it again. He pulled out an arrow, and instead of a regular goose feather tail, they were now stymphilian bird feathers. "Ah, the perks of a magic quiver!"

Andria chuckled and took off her high heelsZ "these are my weapons" he told him, showing off the black shoes.then they changed, the heels becoming twin knives, each with a six inch blade and tight handles, adjusted to her particular hand.

"Dang those are cool!"at thee said breathlessly as the heels turned into twin knives. "I wish I could get some of those!"

She laughed and twirled the knives in her hands. "Trust me, you wouldn't last a day in heels"

"Good point.....I could keep 'em in my pack or something though...." He trailed off, sounding stupid.

Andria laughed lightly

"So.......what to talk about now. " Matthew said with emphasis on 'now'. "Do you want to visit the archery arena or something?" He asked.

Andra thought about it. "Maybe later, I need to put my books away and finish piano practice"

"Mmkay" Matthew replied. Ugh. He thought. The days when you do everything and there aren't any new campers. He thought.

Andria nodded an stood "meet you later?"

"Sure." He said, stood up and walked away.
