Lindia looked around and felt her pockets. She had three vials of various potions, half a square of ambrosia....sword, bow, a dozen arrows and about a hundred bucks, American. The dirty blonde girl sighed and looked at Etso. "So, what's your plan now? We are all the way across the ocean from where we were before" She snarled and glared at a few Chinese men who were giving them strange looks.

Etso grinned. "Who needs plans? And being across the ocean helps us, getting away from the cops." She said, still grinning. She listened closely to what the men were saying, translated it immediately on her phone and the smile raced away from her face. "Oh, sh!t...." She trailed off and looked over to the men, who were now grinning maniacally.

Lindia knew the look instantly as her father had always given her that same look. "Look away." She said simply and walked up to them. After a quick exchange in rough Chinese Lindia pulled her fist back and slugged them both in the jaw, knocking them back. After that she reached into her pocket and pulled out a vial, opened it, and let the sweet smell knock them out. After putting the cover back on she turned and faced Etso. "That was easy"

"Thank the gods it was." Etso said. I don't want to get raped today, tomorrow, or yesterday. Thank gods she had that vial. Etso said in her mind.

Etso followed her. "You act as if you know this place like the back of your hand. How?" She asked, astounded. "And when did you get around to learning Chinese?" She asked, even more astounded.

Lindia turned to her "1. My mother is goddes of crossroads, directions come naturally to me. Second, I have been on the run almost my whole life and I live in San Fran, where there is a large Asian population. You pick up a few things. I'm not fluent in Chinese, but I know enough to help us" She said and checked her pockets. She had her weapons, of course, and now a vial full of explosive black powder and half of her sleeping potion.

"Huh. That could be useful sometime." She said. Etso felt eyes on the back of her neck. "Does it feel like you're being watched?" She asked and remembered a fact she heard soemwhere. If you wake up between 2-3 am, there is an 85% chance you're being watched. Etso checked her phoen's world clock. 2:31 am Chinese time. Etso scanned the crowd for anyone suspicious, but didn't see anything.

Lindia glanced around. "We need food....maybe we can find somewhere that takes American, or some sort of money conversion device...those are usually around airports" Lindia said and reached into her boot, pulling out a sharp knife of mortal steel.

Etso was confused. "Or we can take the labyrinth back to America?" She asked, confused. "China's not my thing."

Etso followed her through the crowded streets of Beijing until they reached a large building that had something written on it that etso couldn't read, but recognized. "Hey, isn't that Latin?" She asked and pointed to the writing on the side of the wall.

Lindia turned over and nodded "I see....I know what that says, obviously" She told her and approached the building, trying the door to find it locked. After a moment she took her knife and stabbed the lock, breaking into the building.

Lindia ignored her, looking down the coriidors and peaking into rooms. There had to be something they could use inside of here, there always was something.

"You said to find something we could use. Does that mean like a knife or something?" She asked curiously.
