Saving Jerry

Kaden and Teagan went around the city, searching for Jerry. When they met up, they had no progress.

"What to do now?" Teagan asked.

"Well, last time he found Zalia and I when we were being attacked. Perhaps we should..."

"Are you going to suggest we going looking for monsters unarmed and hopes he finds us?"

"Do you have a better plan?"

".....Fine, tomorrow. Let's call it a day, though."

They found a safe place and slept there.

In the middle of the night, Teagan woke up to a sound. "Kaden, we might find monsters earlier than we planned," he said, nervously, looking at an empousai.

Kaden woke up, gulping, closing his eyes. Phil didn't come. He has going to dead. The empousai went to strike at him.

"KADEN!"

Zalia woke up, her camp site a few feet away from the boys. She heard Teagen scream and say Kaden about to be attacked. Zalia stood up grabbing her sword and rushed to the monster. She stabbed it through the back util the blade went through the other side. It erupted in golden dust and was gone.

Kaden looked up, seeing a figure save them. It wasn't Phil, though. "Thanks." He got up, realizing it was Zalia. "Zalia...you weren't supposed to come!" he became nervous.

"Dude, be thankful. She saved your life and eventually mine. Thanks, Zalia."

Kaden smiled. "I guess you're right. Thanks, Zalia." He hugged her, deciding it'd be best not to kiss her around Teagan. "We need a new plan to find Phil."

Zalia shook her head. "You're an idiot. How do you even know he is missing?"

"Phil sent me a letter, but didn't speak of his location," Teagan said.

Kaden thought. "Nick. He would be our best chance, considering Phil's his father."

Zalia nodded, "then we go back to camp and get the idiot."

Teagan asked Kaden, "I'm guessing she doesn't like Nick?"

Kaden nodded. Then, he said, "alright, let's go get him."

Zalia stood outside the camp waiting for Kaden to return with Nick.

Kaden came with Nick. "Alright, where should we look, Nick?"

"South America." Brownie followed behind.

"Coo-wait what?"

"He's over there for the summer."

".......WHAT?"

"Well, if we're going find Jerry, we have to find my dad."

"....Wh-where in South America exactly?"

"Southern. I don't know beyond there. He only told me that much in the letter, afraid that someone else might find it and might find out the true location of the FBI."

"Makes sense, I guess. But we don't have enough money for a flight of four there."

"I've got money?" Zalia volunteered. "I can get into my dad's bank account."

"Thanks, Zalia."

ANOTHER TIME SKIP THAT IS HOPEFULLY THE LAST

Brownie was in the back of the plane. Nick, Teagan, and Kaden all got seats in the back, fairly close to each other, but Zalia got in the front with a smelly old fat dude.

The fat guy farted.

Zalia buried her face in her bag and moaned. Being in a plane was bad enough, but the fat guy. He smelt worse than her monster breath.

When they arrived and got off, the boys went over to Zalia, along with Brownie.

"That was an awesome ride!" Teagan said.

Kaden and Nick laughed. "How was your ride, Zalia?" Kaden asked.

"I hate planes." She replied grumpily. It was goin to be a long trip with Kaden's friends.

Kaden put an arm around her. "Don't worry, we'll be there soon. Official Southern South America is but a mile away."

"AHHHH!" came a screaming lady's voice.

"Please don't be a monster," prayed Zalia. She looked at Kaden. "Should we turn around?"

"It's worth checking out. Plus, it's only one scream. Unless we're getting ambushed, it'd be four on one."

They went over. It was a women, tied to a tree. "Help me, please!"

"Who did this to you?" Nick asked.

"Tourists- long story."

They untied her. She wore a suit. "Thanks. Lily. Lily Werh."

"Nice to meet you, I'm Kaden, this is Zalia, Teagan, Nick, and Nick's dog, Brownie."

Zalia looked at the women warily. "Um, Kaden. Should you be handing out out names?"

"Relax, it's not last names. Anyway, are you alright?"

She nodded yes.

Zalia nodded. "Alright. Then we can just go right?"

"Yes." As they started to walk away, the lady said, "Nicholas Hoover. I've only heard of you, from Phil, before." Her voice got quiet, "I'm an FBI Agent."

Zalia looked at Nick. He was going to have to deal with this one. Zalia wa actually beginning to feel sick from the plane and didn't want to deal with anyone.

"Really? Well, can you take us to my father? I'll explain on the way." They started walking, and Nick, Teagan, and Lily talked.

"Hey, Zalia, it's gonna be alright." Kaden pulled her in close and half-kissed her.

Zalia pulled back, "Don't kiss me, I feel like I'm gonna throw up." It wasn't the most romantic thing she could say, bu at least she didn't throw up in his mouth. Zalia laced her fingers through Kaden's and followed the woman.

They stopped.

"Why are we stopping?" Kaden asked.

"He's underground," Lily said.

"...how are we going to get underground? I have sleep powers, Teagan has no powers, aswell as Zalia, I'm pretty sure, and Nick has fire. There's no shovel around."

Lily moved a stone out of place, and an underground dark, chamber opened. "All of you, jump in."

"How deep is it?" Nick asked, nervously.

"Only nine feet."

"If Jason was here he probably would've jumped 'to look good.'" Nick grinned.

Teagan and Kaden laughed.

"Nah, he'd be too busy trying to impress Lily with his muscles," Nick said. More laughing.

Teagan jumped, then Nick hesitantly jumped.

Kaden, still in laughter, looked at Zalia. "Want to jump in together? Don't worry, if you vomit, we're far enough in my relationship that I honestly don't care."
