Saving Jerry

The thought of jumping made her want to vomit more. "Okay."
As soon as they landed at the bottom and stood up to get out of the way Zalia started to throw up. She held her hair back and let herself empty her stomache. When she was done she ha a coughing fit and didn't bother to move away from her vomit. She jut stood next to it with her hand a on her knees coughing.

Phil said. "Alright, who's vomiting?"

"Dad!" Nick yelled in joy, "where are you?"

Suddenly, lights came on. Lily dropped in, then the chamber shut. It looked like a labratory with lots of computers.

Zalia wiped her mouth and turned away from her breakfast on the floor. She breathed a little then looked for a place to sit.

"Zalia, honey, are you alright? Here." He made her a cup of coffee. "Take it. So, I'm assuming you guys are here about Jerry?"

They nodded.

"We can find him. I've officially tracked him: he's in Europe. England, actually. London."

"Another flight? Sweet!" Teagan said.

"Teagan, you knucklehead, Zalia obviously doesn't like flights," Nick said.

Zalia smiled, Nick wasn't being an idiot. "Don't worry about me." She sipped on the coffe which was too hot and didn't have enough sugar in it, but it was the thought that counts.

"Well, sorry, Zalia, but my best friend's life is on the line, we have to get there quickly. If you'd like, we can give you some sleeping medicine to sleep through some if not most of the plane ride?"

Zalia nodded, "Yeah, that's fine. Like I said, don't worry about me."

Kaden rubbed her back.

TIME SKIP TO PLANE

Luckily, Kaden and Zalia sat right beside each other. Phil had given her a cup of apple juice with the medicine in it. He had also been the one to make sure Kaden would sit by her, to make her feel safe and comfortable.

Zalia moved the arm rest up and laid on Kaden. "This is like an 18 hour flight."

"I know, but it'll seem half that to you." Concessions came over. "Want anything before your slumber, Zalia?"

Zalia shook her head and closed her eyes. The only thing keeping her from freakin out was Kaden. He was so calm and she could feel his steady breathing while she laid on him. Zalia focused on matching her breathing with his as she fell asleep.

Kaden decide not to eat when Zalia was sleeping on his shoulder, so he just sat, thinking about everything.

Suddenly, two really pretty girls came over near Kaden. Despite their prettiness, he would never meet someone he thought was as beautiful as Zalia.

They giggled. "Hi, Kaden."

"Aphrodite flirts," he muttered, "hi girls. Do I know you?"

"No. We noticed you're becoming stronger. Can we feel your biceps?"

"Are you two Jason girlfans?"

The girls both screamed. Everyone looked. "Fangirls, not girlfans."

"Oh....OKay. Why are you treating me like him?"

"Because he denied us for some nerdy girl." The other started crying. "Shhh, Liv, it's OKay. So, Kaden, do you have a girlfriend?"

"No, this girl sleeping on my shoulder just happens to be somebody random."

"Great." One sat beside Kaden, the other behind. They fought over who got to sit by him.

"Oh, this'll be a long ride."

Zalia shifted in her sleep. It was nightmare after nightmare. First there was the one about the plane crash, then the one about a volcano, then finally the one Kaden was actually dead. Zalia clawed at her own arm in her sleep leaving scratches that would most likely burn later.

Kaden looked at Zalia. She was having a demigod dream, most likely. He shouldn't wake her up, but would he risk her being stressed after waking up, or being sick if he did wake her up. So, he did something else. Slowly and calmly, he whispered in her ear, "I'm here, I'm here. I'm never letting you go. You're safe."

Zalia had no idea why, but she felt safe again. Her dreams faded and turned into darkness. Her mind was blank and when she woke up she didn't remember anything but the three nightmares. She woke up shivering. There was some girl next to Kaden and Kaden looked annoyed.

It had been ten hours. The girls were attempting to feel Kaden's bicep, asking him about his ankle, and going through his hair. Kaden, nor did any of the girls, notice Zalia was up.

"Could you not." Zalia snapped at the girls. She was more annoyed she was still on the plane then the fact that someone was flirting with Kaden. It wasn't like Kaden was enjoying himself.

It gave everyone a startle, especially Kaden.

"It's obvious this girl isn't like Tina. She's one of those clingy overprotective girlfriends," one said.

"Hmm, what do we do?" Liv asked.

"Hmm, I have an idea." The one hit Zalia in the head, hard, with a couple soda cans and started kissing Kaden. Unlike Jason, though, Kaden couldn't get her off. Everyone stared.

Zalia unbuckled herself and squished past the two. When she passed the girl she shovered her head into the seat full force. Zalia sat down in the first empty seat she say. She looked next to her an saw Nick. "Ew."

The girls stopped, laughing.

Nick was reading. "Shshsh, wait." He out the book down. "Don't worry about those girls. They're not right in the head. A brick building is less dense then them."

"Shut up, Hooper." Zalia stared straight ahead. Not wanting to look out the window or over at Kaden.

Nick rolled his eyes. He continued reading, eating a bag of pretzels. "CONCESSIONS, ANOTHER PRETZEL BAG!" This would be his tenth.

Kaden looked back at Zalia, feeling bad.

"You eat like a pig," Zalia tried to wipe her face without Nick noticing.

"I'm 90 pounds. I'm close enough to being anorexic. I'll eat what I want." He continued eating. He was considering what it'd be like to have a girlfriend...nah, maybe another two years. Trying to make conversation, he bursted out, "do you have a younger sister or something?"

Zalia looked at him confused, "I'm a demigod. I have plenty."
