I'm In The Zone.

Blushing slightly, Zone put on arm around hr while he other effortlessly controlled the wheel. The car was going well over 150 mph, sending a massive trail of dust behind them as they drove. "It's okay Lucy, We'll be fine. We'll be back to camp any minute now." Zone said softly, the hand that was holding her stroking her hair softly.

Lucy nodded slightly but didn't let go. She couldn't. She was scared. She turned her head a little and watched as everything zoomed by. "Whoa..." she whispered.

Grinning slightly, Zone asked "You wanna go faster?" As he asked this, Zone hoped she would say yes, cause his car could go up to 270 mph, and he hadn't been able to floor it in a long time.

Lucy was quiet before nodded. "Yes, please." she said. She got ready for it to go faster by gripping his shirt a little and bracing herself.

Grinning slightly, Zone said "Hold on tight." Before flooring it, Increasing the speed by a massive amount as the speedometer read a little over 230 mph, a massive cloud of dust rearing behind the car as he violently swerved and drifted around turns before grabbing onto Lucy and holding her closely and tightly as he slammed the brakes, sending the car skidding a large distance until it came to a stop near the bottom of the hill. :Well, that was fun." Zone said with a grin, loosening his grip on Lucy.

Lucy's heart was pounding as they sped up. As they rounded corners, she his her face in his shoulder again and shrieked a little every once in a while. When they skidded to a stop, she pulled her face away from him and looked around. She looked at him as he spoke and blushed. "Eventful first date." she said.

Blushing, Zone stuttered out "Y-Yeah..." as he opened the door and went to get out before realizing that Lucy was on his lap. Blushing deeply, Zone just sat still and waited for her to notice.

Lucy blushed more and stepped out of the car. She wiped the dust off her clothes and turned to look at Zone. "You okay?" she asked.

Nodding with a grin, Zone stepped out of the car before pressing a button and closing the door, causing sheets of metal to slide into place on the inside of the car, barring the windows and keeping it locked. Stepping over to Lucy, Zone said "That was a lot of fun."

"Yeah it was. Thank you for taking me." Lucy said, blushing a little. She curled her hair behind her ear and smoothed out her shirt before looking up at him.

Blushing lightly, Zone said "So... Do you want to do this again sometime? I mean, the random monster attack I can go without, but... you know what I mean..." Zone said, blushing.

Lucy blushed and nodded. "It would be fun." she said softly.

Smiling slightly at Lucy's response as he blushed slightly, Zone said "Great! That sounds awesome." Steeling his will as he blushed heatedly, Zone quickly leaned down, planting his lips onto Lucy's own warm soft lips.

Lucy froze for a moment and then relaxed, placing her hands on Zone's shoulder as they kissed.

Relaxing as he mentally sighed when Lucy relaxed as well, Zone wrapped his right arm around her back, holding her closer as the chilly breeze brushed his back as he shielded Lucy from the cold with his own warm body as he continued to kiss her.

Lucy pulled back from the kiss and smiled softly. "Wow.." she whispered. She bit her lip a little and blushed. Sher brought her arms down and wrapped him in a hug, her arms around his waist and her head resting against his chest.

As he was still blushing from his own bold move, Zone's blush deepened the moment he felt Lucy's arms around his waist and her head against his chest. Slowly returning the hug as he wrapped his arms around Lucy's upper body, resting his head on top of her own. "Sorry about that..." Zone muttered.

Lucy laughed a little. "It was wonderful. You have nothing to be sorry about." she said, her voice a little muffled because of his chest. This caused her to giggle a little.

Blushing further, Zone nuzzled into Lucy's hair briefly, 'attempting' to hide his face from her as he inhaled softly, closing his eyes as he relaxed from the scent of the girl he had developed rather romantic feelings for.

Lucy smiled she felt him relax in her arms. "Promise me something." she said, her voice soft as silk as she traced shapes with her finger on Zone's back.

"Depends what it is." Zone muttered into Lucy's hair, shuddering noticeably as her fingers skimmed over his stitched, sending pulses of cold through his body.

"Promise me you'll show me more." she whispered as she pulled away a bit. She took his arm in her hands. Her finger trailed across the stitches, her touch lighter than a feather.

Shivering as his mind slowly processed what Lucy said, Zone slowly nodded, muttering "O...Okay..." quietly as he went over the past few days. He had shown his stitches to as few people as possible in order to not recieve pity or disgust, and here he is agreeing to show more of them!

"I really hope you don't think this is weird. But..." Lucy blushed before she continued. "As horrible as the reason is for why they are there, I like them. They make you who you are." She looked up at him, her blue-gray eyes meeting his emerald green ones.

Staring into Lucy's eyes, Zone smiled softly, saying "Of course it's not weird. It is actually very kind of you. Everybody else is either disgusted or pity me." As he bent down to kiss Lucy on the cheek, he felt an extremely painful tearing pain from his hest as he let out a cry of both surprise and pain. Straightening slightly, Zone slowly took off his coat and then his shirt, reveaing his heavily stitched yet lean, muscular, and all-around athletic body. However, the most noticeable feature was the horizontal stitching across his stomach that had come loose, tearing open his skin and flesh as his organs attempted to spill out, the only thing keeping them in being his hand against the wound. Hobbling over to his car, Zone pulled a tarp-like mat out of the trunk and plopped it on the ground, unrolling it ad he pulled out a large needle and a thick expanse of stitching, which he threaded through the needle, preparing to sew himself shut.
