I'm In The Zone.

Lucy was startled by Zone cry and backed up a little, thinking she might have hurt him. As she watched him take his coat and shirt off, her heart started racing. Until she saw that his stitches had come undone. Then, her heart dropped. She watched him hobble to his car and set himself up. She quickly rushed over. "Do you need help?" she asked, her voice laced with fear and concern

Grimacing painfully, Zone shook his head as he grunted out painfully "I'll be fine. But I might need you to kiss it better afterwords." Zone joked with a slight smirk just before he dug the needle throught the skin and flesh, dragging the thread along as he ushed it in and pulled it out in a repetitive manner, pulling the stitching closed.

Lucy smiled slightly and sat down beside the mat. She watched carefully, not turning away as Zone continued to sew it up. "You've had practice haven't you?" she asked softly.

Grimacing as his flesh was continuously pierced by the cold metal needle, draggint eh thread behind it, Zone merely nodded, saying "Unfortunately." As he said this, he was nearing the end. THis was where he needed Lucy's help. "Lucy, can you help me with something? If you don't mind, I need you to sort of put pressure on where I started sewing. Like as much pressure as possible."

Lucy had been playing with the mat but stopped when he started talking. She went over to him a did as he asked. She pushed on it as hard as she could, glancing at his face with the slightest bit of guilt on her face.

Wincing slightly, Zone said "Thanks." Before pulling tightly on the thread, forcing his wound to be pulled shut before Zone 'tied' it off, snipping the thread afterwards as he panted slightly before pulling Lucy into a gentle hug. "Like I said, I need you to kiss me better." Zone muttered, capturing Lucy's lips in a kiss.

Lucy nodded at his thanks before being pulled into a hug. As he kissed her, she smiled into the kiss. All she could think about was how she was kissing a shirtless guy. She pulled back a little, breaking the kiss for a few mere seconds pressing her lips to Zone's with a little more force.

Eyes widening slightly in surprise, Zone grinned into the kiss before returning it with twice the vigor, Pulling Lucy with his as he laid down on the comfortable tarp, holding Lucy flush against his chest as he kissed her.

Lucy kissed him a bit longer before pulling back and biting her lip. "Sorry." she said with a blush. She would sit up, but Zone had a hold of her so she rested her forehead against his.

Smiling slightly, Zone sat up before gesturing to his coat, which Lucy was currently laying on. "Unless ypu want to walk into camp with a half-naked guy, I suggest you sit up." Zone said with a sly grin as he rolled up the tarp, throwing it back into the trunk.

Lucy sat up but couldn't keep her eyes off of Zone. She had a dazed look on her face as she watched him. Her eyes shone as she smiled slightly.

Smiling, Zone pulled his coat on, ignoring his blood-soaked shirt as he threw it away, leaving the coat mostly unzipped as he stood, picking Lucy up bridal-style. "Since you seem too weak to walk, I guess I'll have to carry you." Zone said with a slight grin as he placed a chaste kiss onto Lucy's lips, heading towards the camp as he shifted lucy slightly in a way that would bloc his stitches from view.

Lucy blushed at his words but didn't disagree with him. When he kissed her, her heart started racing. "Zone." she whispered, leaning her head on his shoulder.

Breathing in a slightly deeper breath than normal as he blushed as he thought of his next words. "Lucy? I know that it is very early, but over the course of the past few days... I think I've fallen in love with you." Zone said, blushing as he continued. "I've fallen in love with your appearance, I've fallen in love with your personality, I've fallen in love with your attitude, I've fallen in love with your smile, I've fallen in love with your laugh, I've fallen in love with your fighting skill, and most of al, I've fallen in love with you." Zone said, blushing deeply.

Lucy listened to his words and he barely had gotten the last sentence out when she kissed him. Her hand cupped his cheek as she kissed him and her thumb stroked his cheek lightly. She broke the kiss smiled at him. "I've fallen in love with you too." she said softly.

Smiling, Zone shivered as her thumb ran over his stitches. "I'm so happy." Zone murmured, holding Lucy closer as he continued walking up the hill.
