It wasn't often Caffeine explored the camp. Normally, she'd rather be anywhere but here. But the girl was frustrated. They took any guns she bought in the city. Apparently guns aren't allowed? Not even little pistols. She was tired of barely sharp, second hand swords. The other one had no problem with them, of course she didn't. How boring.
The forge had only a few people inside. It was a fairly large room and logic told her it was almost unbearably hot, as per usual, but she was in fact quite comfortable. The camp outside had an absolutely freezing breeze, and she had no jacket beyond her staple short leather jacket. Underneath she wore a loose floral blouse, the kind that opened on the sides and showed her black bra. Beyond that, she had black skinny jeans on, and pink Converse. The fact that the camp was mostly grass made wearing her favorite platform booties nearly impossible. They finished the outfit, but she had no other shoes besides the beat up sneakers.
Along the far wall, the campers with a gift for mechanics worked quietly. There were clangs here and there as the hammers pounded into the metal. Caffeine didn't mind them. They didn't seem to mind her. All she wanted was a nice new weapon. She had her own short range weapons, but those were nearly useless in other types of combat. She had never needed anything longer range. She had her guns.
Near her was a long table of weapons, ranging from arrowheads to spears to swords. That was all she wanted. She lifted up a sword about three feet long and hefted it in her hands. It didn't feel too bad. Watching the campers, she unsheathed it. She watched the sunlight from the door reflect against it. It was perfect. Now she just had to get out with it. Hopefully it wasn't supposed to belong to anyone.
