Personality: Calder is a very chill person and makes friends pretty easily. He doesn't get himself caught up in drama, but he will stick up for his friends and siblings if he has to. Now, please don't take his kindness for weakness. If you get him angry enough, he will literally go from happy Jack Frost to a vengeful Mr. Freeze. Trust me, you don't want to get on his bad side. Just like Winter, it can be beautiful and breathtaking, but also devastatingly bitter and relentless. With that being said, Calder is a nice guy to strangers while still holding some caution toward them. When he's with his friends, Calder is always looking out for an excuse to hang out with them. To those boys who rock his world just by drawing his attention, Calder likes to play hard to get even though he really wants them. When it comes to be a Greek demigod, he takes it rather seriously. He's always studying up on the gods and goddess in the library and brushing up on his myths. Calder loves to hang out in his cabin, reminding him of his family’s cabin in Finland.
Flaws: Heterochromia iridis  (He's insecure about it and has attempted to wear contacts to cover it up), picky eater, vengeful, and get’s sunburn easier than the average person, and passive aggressive.

That time of Year: In the Winter months, Calder is 20% more powerful.
Winter Coat: Calder has a natural resistance to extreme cold that isn’t caused by a god(dess) or titan(ess) and is above 0 degrees F. Also, his core body temperature is ninety-five degrees Fahrenheit.
Frosted: If this son of Khione stands in one spot for two posts straight, frost starts to form in his footsteps. Whenever he gets angry, antsy, or nervous his body radiates a two foot diameter aura that is five degrees colder than the current temperature.
Powers (must relate to god parent; optional):
Northern Winds: With outstretched arms, Calder can summon icy winds, dramatically dropping the temperature to 32 degrees Fahrenheit. The winds swirl in a twenty foot diameter and can reach speeds up to fifteen miles per hour. He can send the winds out a good ten yards in one direction. This can last up to three posts with a five post cooldown. Frost can be found forming on speckled parts of his body and clothing.  
Fr-freeze!: Calder is able, by touch, to sap thermal heat out of organic or synthetic material to the point where the substance drops to eight degrees Fahrenheit. He own body temperature does not change even when he's using this power.The largest thing he can do this to his a six foot tall, nine feet wide and five feet long object. It takes him two posts to perform. The effects lasts for three posts and he’ll need a four post cooldown to perform again. The temperature of the object gradually goes back to normal depending on the temperature.
Life Before Camp*: Khione met Frans when he was visiting the Riisitunturi National Park in Posio, Finland Lapland. They went on a couple of dates before the twins Calder and Marta were conceived. Khione was starting to become more and more absent as the months passed. Frans started to ask questions, assuming that she was cheating on him with another man. The goddess told him who she really was, blanketing the entire apartment in a light snow. Frans believed her and asked what would happen to their child. Khione chuckled and removed the snow from the room and told him that they were going to have twins. Frans was overly excited and asked her would she be staying around to help raise them. She responded solemnly, telling him that she has to return to Mount Olympus and perform her goddess duties. Khione also explained that their children would be special and that they would have to take special precautions when raising them. She told him about Camp Half-Blood and at the age of thirteen that they would have to stay there for their own safety and his own. Frans understood and thanked the goddess for choosing him.

Calder and Marta were sent down in a frosted basket from Mount Olympus to Helsinki, Finland where their father was waiting for them. Khione soon joined them and stayed for four days, making sure that Frans understood what should happen on their thirteenth birthday. On the fourth day, Khione left for the last time, leaving the care for their children in the dependable hands of their father.

Growing up, Calder always wanted to go out and play in the snow with his sister. His father understood why, but didn’t say anything for their safety. School has always been a very important thing for him, but not as important was it was to Marta. She seemed to be just a little bit better than in when it came to academics, but he didn’t mind that. At the age of eleven, Frans moved them from Helsinki to New York, having a dual citizenship between America and Finland. Like he promised, Frans told Calder and Marta who their mother was as he was packing their suitcases for them to leave for camp. Naturally, they both protested against him, but was silenced when the living room got noticeably colder. Frightened, they obeyed their father and after a drive, and a long hug, they entered into Camp Half-Blood. Carter being claimed at the Friday’s campfire.
