    jack. Empty jack.

Post by sietepecados 11/27/2013, 11:16 pm

name ⇢ Alejandro Bennett is better known as Jack. In reality, the only reason Alejandro was nicknamed Jack was because he insisted that he be called after Jack Sparrow, a sick obsession that haunts him to this day.

age ⇢ Freshly out of high school, Jack is eighteen years old.

    gender⇢ Jack is a male.

eyes ⇢ Like most Athena children, Jack inherited his mother’s grey eyes instead of his father’s blue ones.

hair ⇢ He inherited his father’s blond hair, another common feature of Athena children.

height ⇢ This boy is five feet and ten inches tall.

body type ⇢ Jack is definitely in shape, probably due to all the running and training he focuses on. To be specific, he has a lean body.

skin color ⇢ Due to all the years he has spent in camp, Jack has lost his pale features and now sports a slightly tan color on his skin.

god parent ⇢ Jack was claimed a few months after he arrived to camp by his mother, Athena.

mortal parent ⇢ Henry Bennett, father of Jack, is a well-known attorney in Queens, New York. Three years ago, Bennett married Louise Marie Smith, a physician at a hospital in Queens, New York, making her Jack's legal step-mother.

country of origin ⇢ Jack is from the United States of America. Specifically, he was born in Southern California, but moved to New York around the time he was supposed to enter junior high school.

    pets ⇢ None.

talents ⇢ One of his recently discover talents is his ability to anagram certain phrases. However, the more he tries to explore this recent talent, the more it ends up backfiring — his list of words unable to anagram are growing day by day.

weapon ⇢ Jack’s weapon is a sword made purely of celestial bronze, double-edged, and its blade’s height is 105 cm.

personality ⇢ Jack took after his father when it comes to his charismatic ways. From a young age, Jack learned how to control his image and actions in such a way that would influence people to take a liking towards him. He would listen to the other person speaking, switch the topic to them — everything he had observed his father do in conversations. Taking after both his father and mother, Jack has proven to be clever and quick-witted. On the other hand, Jack is self-indulging and would rather focus on himself than others in certain situations. While he can be observant, if information provides itself useful, Jack is up to use the information he picks up and bend it at his whim to suit his needs.

flaws ⇢ Jack, as previously mentioned, is self-indulging, is a perfectionist, and has an addictive personality.

    powers: None.

life before CHB ⇢ In the city that never sleeps, it isn’t any surprise that Alejandro Bennett would follow the popular trend. Even if monsters didn’t start haunting him until he reached his pre-teen years, the nightmares demigods are famous for plague him constantly. Jack never consulted his father over these nightmares, or the monsters that would later on make their appearances, because his father never seemed to be around the house. Being a well-known lawyer with hundreds of pending lawsuits in one hand and worrying clients in the other, Henry Bennett almost never had time to sit around and talk with his son one-on-one. The house maids that would clean and take care of their house seemed to give him more life lessons and parental guidance than his father ever did.
It was rare to ever hear his dad talk about his absent mother in detail, or at all. There have been a few times where Jack would hear his father comment on how she was a "brilliant, extraordinary woman, son," and how he was devastated to see her leave. He only mentioned her name once -- "Athena, like the goddess -- remember that name" -- and then avoided any topic that had connections to her. Jack quickly learned not to ask any questions about his mother due to his father's repeated requests -- or commands -- to talk about something else or nothing.
Summer of 2007 was the first time he had any contact with Camp Half-Blood and the fact that his mother wasn't just someone who ditched his father with a baby, but a Greek goddess. Under the illusion that he was going to a summer camp, Jack willingly let his father drive him to where ever he needed to (which, when he thought about it, was a warning sign that something was off about the whole event since his father always had someone else drive him to summer camps), familiar with this routine since his father had taken up the habit of shipping him off to summer camps. Once Henry got closer his destination, he began to tell him piece by piece about the missing information in Jack's life: about his mother, about what camp he was taking him to, how he knows about this camp and how said camp will help him.
The boy's stubborn personality kicked in at once, refusing to believe what ridiculous words were falling from his father's lips -- who would believe something such as mythology is real? But, at the same time, that was coming from the same person that saw 'monsters' at the edges of sidewalks and anywhere imaginable. When thinking of these monsters and nightmares that haunted him, a part of him had perked up at the thought of an explanation to these events, so Jack agreed to see the camp his father was talking about, believing it to be a false claim, but this agreement would soon change his life.

rp example ⇢ The lights of the city blind you with their charm, but the only things he hopes will blind him are the balls of gases and asteroids that decorate the sky, painting pictures and stories with their extraordinary light. Sometimes, when Jack lays on the ground and stares at the sky for a long time, engraving the way the moon and the stars dance before his eyes into his mind, he sees his mother. He sees her in stars that join together to form a image, different every time. One time it’s a young woman and then it’s a cluster of stars that form nothing but an irregular polygon, each of its edges sharp and deadly. There’s a part of his entity, the reasonable and sane him that replies with a quick-witted comment about how ridiculous that idea is. There isn’t any chance that there’s a spiritual connection between the stars and his absent mother. The only connection he has with her is his bed pushed in the corner of the cabin that has billions of kids inside, all an equal copy of each other.

(Normally children of Athena are claimed at birth, but I'm not gonna ask you to edit that.)

What do you mean by 'addictive personality'?

    Does he have any powers?

(I should have researched more, sorry.)
An addictive personality means that he'd put too much emphasis on one thing, or can easily become addicted to one thing only. If that flaw is any problem, I can always edit it out. No, no powers.

Then, can you please add the power-section in the character form and put N/A next to it, please? Apart from that, your form looks good.
