The Amphitheater

I grinned. "Well, the more experience you have in fights, the better."

"I guess" I say as I see the kid (James) run forward and attack.

I run forward and swing my fist in a tight narrow hook aimed at the jaw.

I walk out.

I see the movements foretell the attack as he rushes forward, my boxing past coming into play and quickly dance around it and send a quick jab with my right at the boy's jaw.

I do a back flip while kicking at Dante's head.

Not seeing the attack coming, but not unprepared, I hop quickly to the left and launch a strong punch at the boy while he is in midair.

I get hit as I land. I fly back and hear Violet's voice. "Dammit get out of here Violet!"

As the other yells, I quickly follow up the assault with a sharp elbow to his midsection, bearing my weight downward to crush him.

As I hit the ground I roll and jump on Dante. I start throwing punches. "I said Get the Hell Outta Here!!"

I bring one arm up to ward off the blows raining torward me, then bring myself fully to my feet and sweep the arm in a powerful backhanded strike to Jame's face.

I drop my bow. "What the sh*t."

I get backhanded and I turn around and jump off a wall. I spin in midair and tackle him.

I grunt heavily as our bodies crash to the earth and I hear the girl's bowstring twang, then immediately bring a heavy elbow to bear to James' temple, using the close quarters as an advantage to throw my weight to roll us as I strike, out of the girl's current line of fire.

I get hit with the arrow and I scream "Θεοί Dammit κορίτσι Μην Φωτιά στην πλώρη"

I laugh at the backfired attack and, keeping a tight hold on james, I begin to launch blows at his face and throat with my elbows and head, while sending knees to his abdomen.

I walk in. I stop dead in my tracks. What the crap?

I wrench my hand free and pull out the arrow. I stab it into Dante's leg. I punch him in the face.

Feeling the arrow penetrate my thigh, I give a short cry of pain and bring a full-force punch to the side of Jame's head, aiming directly for the temple for maximum effect, ignoring the blow to the face.

I stood there, not knowing whether I should help or just... leave.

I get hit in the side of the head with a full force fist of spiked gauntlet. I fall to the ground with holes in the side of my head. I see Violet and I gasp one time before passing out.

I blink.

My breathing gets shallower as my mind starts to go fuzzy.

Seeing James on the ground, I roll onto my elbows and knees, and slowly work my way to standing, watching the arrow wound carefully. When I am fully standing, I kick some dust onto James' body and begin walking away, torward the infirmary to get the arrow treated.

I run over to the kid on the ground. I kneel beside him, hoping he wasn't dead.
