"I consider a lot of things sappy." I say quite loudly, but still grinning, "But not that." I say quietly now, "My parents nearly beat me to death many times. I'm very unemotional." I roll up my sleave and let Rita see countless cuts and wondes. "And that's the least of them." I'm still grinning.

"Oh... interesting... Maylene once BIT me." Rita said, eyeing Maylene. Maylene put her head under her mid-body, feeling ashamed. "It's okay Maylene." Rita said, then turned back to Alexander. She pulled up her sleeve to show him the scar left by Maylenes bite. And there were also the scars she got from falling out of trees. She put her sleeve down. "The other scars were from when I first tried jumping off of 25 foot trees."

"Ouch!" I say, " Ya know, when I was pushed down a huge staircase by my older sister. She was too bad even for my sick parents. See, we had a huge house and huge houses come with huge, winding staircases. I nearly died, but my neighbor saw it and rushed my to the E.R.." I look at the floor, "But.....why would you wanna hear about that?" I say almost to myself.
