Weapon**: a cb sword, beaded leather wrapped around the hilt and tied with Eagle feathers. A wooden bow and arrows ( cb arrow heads) again beaded leather wrapped and tied with eagle feathers. A wooden staff (not cb just wood)
Flaws: He's is very unfamiliar with American items(like iPods and laptops and stuff like that) and customs. He is far too trusting of people. If ever a friend was in danger he would not think things through when planning to save them.
Powers(must relate to god parent; optional): he can create thirty second burst of wind strong enough to pick up a metal sword and send it flying at someone, 12x a day. A minuet burst of wind strong enough to push a person back a foot or so (withoutknocking them over) 7x a day. He can create a seven foot tall three foot wide tornado for one minuet, but this can only be done once a day and in the most desperate of situations causing him to faint when the tornado disapates. 
Life Before CHB*: he was born in Somalia. However, after his village was destroyed, he was separated from his family. He was taken by some traders who adopted him and took him back to Kenya, where he grew up on the edge of the Masu Mari. Ten years later, he was 15, and a stranger told him about his family and his twin sister, Xaali, who lives in New York. He made the journey on a trading boat to New York where he hopes to be reunited with his sister.
RP Example*: I stumbled off the boat, weary from my time at sea. I was much looking forawrd to seeing my sister again. It had been so long. I do believe too long. When I stepped off the boat, I was shocked at the beautiful city.It was Like nothing I had ever seen before!

How far away would an item be at most if he wanted to pick it up with a gust of wind? How far would said item go?

It would be at maximum length, about five feet away, and travel about seven feet because of momentum.

Mhm.... Can you define the maximum weight of the sword?

3-10 lbs

I suggest toning down the number of times he can use the gust of wind a bit. When you mean the gust of wind lasts 30 seconds/a 3 minute burst, do you mean it's continuous for 30 seconds and such?
