Shrike's Bunk

"Sure thing," I said, turning to Astrid. "If you want to come, it would be great, just meet us out in the forest. Don't worry, its not too dangerous. Come on Fang! Let's go!

I jog out of the room, Fang following at my heels.

OOC: Forest?

OOC: Yeah sure. Southern forest it is.

"Okay lets go! Come on Astrid!" I said as I left the building.

Hermes fluttered in, placed a shoebox on Shrike's bed, and left.

Gwen knocked on the door not sure if Shrike had calmed down or not yet. He had a tendency of going on his man period at random times.

Gwen walked through the door shutting it softly behind her. "Hey Shrike..." her voice was a whisper.

"You kinda ran out on me...I was wondering what I did wrong this time?" Gwen rocked back and forth on her heels.

Gwen walked over and sat obviously the bed. She rubbed how back and played with a strand of his dramatic blue hair. "Why are you scared of me? Of a relationship?"

"Well then let's just be friends." Gwen said sadly. She had gone through too much to lose how from her life completely. At least this way they'd still be friends.

"Then what are we going to do?" Gwen bit her lip frustrated. "This isn't easy for me either Shrike."

"I can't just...I need to have a solid relationship something committed." It pained Gwen to say these words when all she wanted to do was kiss him.

She was tense at first but relaxed in his arms.

Gwen kissed him very gently, slowly, and with genuine loving passion. "That's not enough for me...we'll have to be friends unless things change." she sat there dizzy from the kiss but her voice was filled with conviction.

"It doesn't have to be our last....well I guess it does doesn't it?"

Gwen swallowed her self pride and kissed Shrike once more, for the last time. Though she prayed to her father, their father that it wouldn't be the last.
