(fanfic) arek kuso, the quiet boy, the mystery boy, the wierdest boy.

arek was a very quiet, and mysterious boy, and he didnt talk very much. people around school always wondered about him, asking "who is he?" or "where did he come from?" of course no one could figure these things out. he wouldn't talk, and he would only hang out with one person, err..animal. it was a dog, he would only hang out with a dog. the dogs name was uko. and uko and arek were very attatched. they were together when they were born, which caused some pretty crazy things, of course no one really knew about this, because arek wouldn't say anything bout it, and uko couldn't say anything about it.

turns out that arek and uko could talk using their mind. neither of them know why they can talk, but they've guessed that it was because they were born at the exact same time, at the exact same place, in the exact same room. this was a rare occasion, since most people were born in hospitals, and not a motel. but arek and uko look back and say that it was a great thing that happened.

arek basically goes through middle school everyday, hanging out with uko in the halls, as soon as he finished his work, but he always got his work done almost 5 hours before school was out. no one knew why, but he was excelling in all of his work, and he could finish 3 tests within a single hour, which was almost impossible for any student his age. the only other person who could do it was ashley. uko seemed to like ashley, and so did arek, but arek didnt want to say anything to her, thinking he would ruin any chance of her being with him. so he continued to stay quiet.

one day, he had to walk home, and ashley seemed to be going the same way, arek thought to himself "this might be my chance to say something to her." ashley walked right next to him, and smiled, taking her glasses off and cleaning them quietly. arek opened his mouth and said "hello, my name is arek, although im sure you already knew that. want to be friends?" auron stopped for a second, pulling his hat down over his face, embarrassed. ashley put her glasses back on and said "my name is ashley, and of course i would like to be your friend."ashley said smiling. auron smiled back at her.

(chapter 2)

arek and ashley hung out every day, after they met. arek didnt talk much to her in school, but once they got to her house, he was able to talk. he didnt say much about his past, nor about his nightmares. he kept all that a secret from her. he didnt want her to worry to much about him, or leave him. he felt that she and uko were his only friends. the only ones who cared, and at this time of his life, they were.

arek and his mother were very close when he was over in ireland, but one day, some men came to his house, took his mom and raped her. arek was forced to stand there and watch, while his mom was torn to pieces by these men. arek had found a blade on his right, but he couldnt get it without the men noticing what he was doing. so he stayed there and watched, horrified. once the last man was up and ready, the men pulled out a new 9mm handgun, never shot before, and held it up to his mom. arek had finally got the courage he needed, and grabbed the blade, which was 15-18 inches long, and ran up to the men, faster than he ever ran before. he took out the first man with a stab through his eye, then took his 5-7 inch knife and took out two men with both blades, the man with the gun turned and shot at arek, but arek jumped to the side, dodging the bullet. and jumped towards the man and stabbed him through both lungs. the man shot him in the arm, and then fell over, while arek flew back from impact.

arek and his mom both moved to america, hoping to find a reason for his lightning fast speed, and to start a new life. arek was completely shut up after that, and his mom started drinking, which made her seem like she didnt care anymore.

so arek had no friends, except for uko and ashley, and he treasured them both. people would attack ashley in school, or make fun of her, and arek would step in front of them glaring at them, showing them that they better stio, or they were in a lot of trouble, of course one kid thought it'd be ok to continue, he thought wrong, and spent 4 months in a hospital from a coma.

ashley didnt care about how protective arek was though. she thought it was cute. she liked having arek there to protect her, and she liked his and uko's company. soon, she found out he had a dark secret when he let it slip though, and she pressured him into telling her about it. he did. and she was in tears, feeling horrible for how he was treated, and what happened before. she promised him that she would never leave his side. and he believed her.
