Jana Kay laughed and walked over to the cabin leader, Miranda Gardiner. She exchanged a few words with her and got back to James.
- Alright, you can. We're gonna fly over the lake, so I think it's safer for you. Wait, I'm gonna take these back.
She lifted Crop's and Wave's cases and put them back in the shelf. After that, she entered a small separate room an walked out carrying bridle and saddle. She started by putting the saddle blanket on Crop's back, being careful to remove the wings before putting it, then let slowly the saddle drop on its back. The smell of new leather entered her nostrils.
She attached the saddle, then passed the head-collar around the horse's neck to attach the bridle. When it was finished, she retrieved the head-collar fully and grabbed the reins.
- Ready? she smiled.

Jana bowed her head, still smiling hugely, and led Crop out. She took out of her pocket a big juicy carrot and broke it to the half.
- This one's for you, she said, showing Crop the half and putting the other one away.
The horse bent his neck down, its soft lips brushing her palm and ate the carrot. Kay giggled as she heard the loud mastication noises.
Outside, she waited for her cabin to come along, and adjusted the stirrups, making sure they had the length of her arm.
Grabbing the reins in her left hand and the front of the saddle with her right, she pushed herself off the ground, passed one skinny leg over Crop's large back, and sat down on the saddle, feet in the stirrups.
Crop extended his wings and folded them over her legs.
- Don't wait for the others! Jana told James. Let's fly without them!

Jana turned her head to James and the wind blew her thin hair around her face. She removed the strains from her eyes and mouth and bound them into a pony tail.
- Wooohoooo!! she cried, not too loud, not to frighten Crop.

Holding herself onto its back only with her legs, she let go and threw her hands upwards.

She made Crop fly sideways so she was nearly perpendicular to the ground. The pegasus flew in spirals and she had to hold it tightly with her thighs, otherwise she would fall.
Kay grabbed the reins again and made Crop fly upwards again.
