Going for a run

I walked though the trees until I found a nice path to start running. I sprinted around some trees for a while and climebed up a verry tall tree.

My sister was no where to be found. But I took that as Nerveli simply not wanting to be found. Sisters... what were you going to do? So, I decided to take a nice walk in the woods. Slipping my cold hands into my pockets, I begin making my way down a nearby path. Not to long later, I begin hearings some leaves rustling, and the occasional twig snap. Quickly, I jog up for a moment, only to see someone jogging.
"Oh, is this a jogging path?" I ask, not knowing if this was one of the paths that was just meant for jogging.

I looked over to the boy, "I don't know , it seems to be"

I looked around, and didn't see anyone else around here, and then cleared my throat before speaking. "Should I ah, be jogging then? Or do you think it's okay if I walk...?" I felt slightly stupid for having to ask. But it was better to know then to get in trouble later.

I smiled and jumped down from the tree, "Um yeah I think so, Im Marina," I extened my hand out to him, "Daughter of Iris,"

"Niel. Niel Otis, son of Lethe." I say, looking blankly at her, Marina's hand before realizing she was holding out for me to shake. "Oh, uh-" I quickly shake her hand up and down, maybe a little to hard or enthusiastic before putting both of my hands back into my pocket.
"Iris, huh? So you can make like, rainbows?" I asked her bluntly.

I smiled, this guy was a goof. I put my hand by my thigh, "I don't but my siblings do," I looked down, I'm kind of ashamed of not having powers.

"Any abilities?" I asked Marina, remembering when I had found out about my ah... 'gifts'. They felt more like a curse. Making people forget things? It probably wasn't to much fun for the person. "They're cool, but sometimes... I wish I didn't have 'em."

I shrugged, "I wish, my mom blessed me with the gift of nothingness,"

"Sorry." I say before looking around the woods. Nothing seemed to be out of the ordinary, which seemed good. For now, anyway. "Do you climb tree's often?" I ask her. It's not every day you see someone jumping down from a tree. Unless you have Nerveli for a sister, that is.

I smiled, "I do, its calming,"

"I like walking in the woods. Helps me when my sister gives me a headache." I admit to her. "The birds tweeting in the air, and the leaves rustling... it's nice." I smile.

I smiled back, "You have a sister?"

I nod. "Yea, I got a sister. Her name's Nerveli, and drives me crazy; doesn't listen to anything that I say." I explain to Marina sighing. "Drives me crazy..."

I smiled and put my hands on my hips, "She sounds fun," I faced palmed my self, my sibling will kill me, "I have camp inspection! I have to go!" I patted his back and ran

"Uhm... okay..." I say as the girl, Marina I remembered, patted me on the back and then ran off. I decided to leave the woods too, there wasn't much to do there, anyway.
