I was running through the woods, but not because I needed fitness. No, it was because I was being attack by a hellhound, and I didn't have my weapon! Moreover, I forgot that useful little incantation that could summon up my weapon! I grabbed a tree and let it carry me around, while the hellhound, running, heh, fast as hell, could not stop. This gave me time to scamper up the tree like a spider-monkey. I stuck my tongue out at the hellhound... But then IT started climbing! Then I remembered. Bob the Lighter! I took my little lighter out from my pocket and flicked it. I set a part of the tree on fire, while the hellhound kept climbing. I waited until that part of the tree was weak, and then I went to the very top, and leaned over. Slowly, that tree broke in half, causing the top part to fall on top of another tree, making a bridge! I then rolled the top half over so it fell, close to the bottom part... And hit the hellhound! I heard it whimpering as it was carried to the ground, far below, by a charred tree trunk. Then, the whimpering stopped. I stood up on the trunk and shouted "Woohoo! Take THAT, you dumb... Beast! What now!?" It was like a miniature party up there...

Suddenly I heard a crack and a whimpering sound. I drew my bow and and slotted an arrow into place. Then whirled around and looked for the cause of the disturbance. I then looked up to the tree and saw a guy there having a party? Strange, but I had seen stranger... "Kid you could get hurt up there" I shouted up to the guy while walking over to the tree.

"I was about to get hurt even more! By that!" I pointed down to the dead hellhound and kept partying.

I looked down at the hellhound "They can only hurt you if you fear them" I tell the boy. "Trust me I should know" I mutter, remembering how somebody had almost died because of their fear...

"Well, I don't fear them, but I do fear getting ripped apart and shredded into tiny little pieces. I mean, I didn't have my weapon when it attacked me, so... Yeah."

I nodded. "True enough, but what kind of person comes in the forest unarmed? I mean it is the deadly forest, where all sorts of monsters are kept" I shook my head. "Why dont you come down, its dead?"

"What kind of person comes down here with no weapon? This person!" I said as I climbed down the tree. "Sheesh. Sometimes I think that hellhounds HATE me... Oh wait, they probably do."

I looked at the guy. "They hate you? How... Nice of them to show you special attention" I said with a smirk. Thrusting out my hand in introduced myself "Alec, son of Demios"

I smiled "Its just my personality I guess" I said with a shrug. "Anywho, what made you come into the forest? Or was the hellhound already chasing you into here?"

"Don't know if its sadly, or what but no. I've never really been out my cabin much since I came" I said sadly. "Who hates you? I could hit them where it hurts the most... With their fear of course"

"Gavin... The Ares kid? He hates pretty much any guy with a pulse." I said. I could see where Nick was coming from having had a few run ins with that oaf previously. "I bet you didn't know he Is scared of spiders?"
