"It is. Its the best." I decided I would take her for a ride. I slowed down, grabbed her and held her in my arms bridesmaid style and built up pressure underneath me,

"Good, cause its gonna be epic." We started to the ground. Just before we hit, i created a small cuishon of air that slowed us down. To make sure no one got hurt at all, I did an extra forward roll to keep Maya safe. I got up and set her down,

I panted before taking a deep breath and standing up. I was shaking a bit but now my confidence had been restored. I would be alright. I nodded at Astrid and asked,

I watched as Shrike and Maya zommed away into the distance, leaving me jogging all on my own. I would be annoyed, but I was used to being alone really. I knew at least that I always had Fang, he'd always be with me, and together we could conquer the world.
"Just me and you, Fang," I smiled, looking down at him happily running beside me, his tongue bounding up and down. "Just you and me against the world. All we need now is a quest!"

Eventually I caught up with them, Maya was standing close by to Shrike and Astrid, who were talking.
"Well guys," I started angrily. "Thanks for bloody ditching me."
"Just me and you, Fang," I smiled, looking down at him happily running beside me, his tongue bounding up and down. "Just you and me against the world. All we need now is a quest!"

Astrid was about to answer Shrike, when Dorian came in. She immeadiatly stepped back into the shadows at his outburst.

I watch as Astrid stebbed back into shadows, and appeared to disappear into them. I could not read her omotions that clearly under the veil of the shadows. Fear? No, if it was fear I would definately now. It was something vaguer, like apprehension. Yeah, that was it pobably. But it didn't matter right now.
I turn back to Shrike, and immediately remembered something. I could not get angry. Well, I couldn't allow myself to at least. Being the son of the god of fear had major disadvantages. Whenever I was fearful, the emotion was extremely multiplied, making me apsolutely terrified normally. But, as all negative emotions derive from fear, it means all the emotions like anger and shyness were much more powerful to me. That meant when I'm angry, its very bad, as I can get violent.
I had to restrain myself.
"Shrike," I said, twitching, trying to control my anger. "Please could you not make me angry in the future. Please. Its not good when I am. You won't like me."

I finally managed to make my anger recede, and then turned to face Shrike head on, brushing off his hand from my shoulder.
"Thanks, I guess," I said, calm as an owl. "But I would just like to say that if you ever need anything, or want to know something about this camp, talk to me, I'm been here for something like 5 years now," I said proudly, showing him my bracelet with the Camp Half-Blood beads on. "And I'm prett sure I'm quite experienced as Demigods go. This goes for you two Astrid, and you Maya."
