Re: Eric's Quest
"Just fly with me." I started to take off.
OOC-a net is still between the Pegasi. She means to catch some fish.

Re: Eric's Quest
"Maybe we could take some fish from this lake and cook them over a fire," I pointed out, sitting up to dry off my legs with my sleeves. I pulled on my socks and shoes, sighing.

Re: Eric's Quest
ooc:it's not, really.
I turned left with Ophelia, waiting to drop the net.i was hungry and just about ready to eat a horse, maybe even a pegasi.I was just kidding, i'm sure Poseidon would have my head if I ate a pegasi, pluss I bet they taste like bad oats.

Re: Eric's Quest
I dropped my end of the net in. That Jason kid had already brought a lot of fish to the surface, and the net started to fill.

Re: Eric's Quest
"pity we didn't do this when we needed to catch the big one. would have saved time." I then think it's enough, and lift the heavy net. I couldn't hold it forever. "We need to land, I can't hold this all day."

I nodded and commanded my pegasus to fly to the ground, wait for Ophelia to do the same.

I landed my Pegasus, and lowered the net till the weight became more bearable. Attila the Hun, she wasn't.

OOC: Sorry, I've been busy.... :/
BIC:
I glanced up and realized we were done... Oops. I walked out of the water and stretched. "So we're cooking fish?" I asked lethargically. I think I packed a lighter... I couldn't remember...

Re: Eric's Quest
Ophelia started a fire, and started cleaning the fish. She could clean a fish pretty well with her sword, in spite of it's size.

Re: Eric's Quest
"If we need to descale and remove the insides from the fish, I can do that. My dad took me camping one summer, he taught me how to find food and how to clean it. It's funny, looking back on it, I remember him saying that it could come in handy." I smiled lightly, I missed dad.

Re: Eric's Quest
OOC: I think you mean "Katy"... Jordan isn't on this quest
BIC:
I removed my dagger from its sheathe, and held a fish firmly, placing the blade under its scales. I pushed forward, against the scales and they budged easily... "Do we want the head of the fish intact?" I asked sheepishly, I didn't really enjoy having a staring contest with my food.

Re: Eric's Quest
arek laughed a bit as he watched the two cleaning and cutting the fish. he found the comment that katy made quite funny too, since he thought he knew why she said it. "well, if you keep the head intact on a fish, it does get a little weird, with the thing staring back at you while you eat it." he said smiling slightly

Re: Eric's Quest
"....I think we'll just get rid of the head..." I decided. I had removed the scales of one fish, and stood, walking over to the lake. I snatched a large, but flat rock from the water and dragged it back over to where I was sitting. I laid the fish on it and laid it on its back. I cut the front of the fish down the middle and worked to remove its insides and bones. I flipped it over and made a small cut in its back and removed the spine rather quickly. It really didn't look much like a fish anymore... except for its face. I placed my dagger at its neck... did fish even have necks? ...I placed my dagger where its head and body met, just behind the gills and cut down, removing the head quickly. "Well.... one down.... several more to go." I said laying the prepared fish aside and grabbing another to start again. "Do we have a fire?" I asked working on the next fish, "This one is ready." I said motioning towards the fish.
