Ever's face hardened. "You don't trust me?" She said, her voice low, dangerous. She clenched her fists. She knew she couldn't do anything until she got her sword back. But no. Why would she hurt Achilles? He doesn't trust her, that's why

Achilles tossed the sword aside and jumped onto her bunk, searching for her inhaler. She was going crazy, but he loved her, he needed to help.

Achilles frowned. "What are you going to do Ever?" The son of Apollo challenged. He held out his arms defensively, slowly standing up straight.

"Come on Ever. Do it. Strike me. It's been three days. I could unleash a plague again." Achilles warned, he knew the plagues frightened Ever, especially the blood. He remembered how she acted, if he threatened her with a plague, maybe she wouldn't strike.

Achilles shrugged cooly. "I don't know, maybe. It could be locusts, or fire, or disease, there's no telling what could come out." Achilles said and looked up at Ever. "Let's just put the sword away, and we'll go from there."

Ever capped her sword and slipped it into her pocket. She started crying. As the tears streamed down her cheeks, she tried to explain, but it was all slurred together. "I'm sorry" se sobbed "I have no idea what happened!"

Achilles walked into the cabin, and sat next to Ever. "You okay?" He asked nervously. She was way too hard on herself. Some people just weren't good at fighting monsters, and it's not like it made him love her any less. He pushed up the sleeves of his purple hoodie, and laced his fingers together as he watched her. He felt bad, he really wished he could do something to help her.
